I brought a floppy disk to school today to use as a bookmark, partly because I didn’t have much else to use but mostly because I just wanted to. Shocked me to see that absolutely nobody could figure out what it was after closely examining it.

  @carlsson apparently not. They didn’t know what I was talking about when I said “floppy disk” either. I had to explain to them that it was used to store data inside computers. I wonder what they’d say if they saw punchcards. Would probably think they were OMR cards.
