bah, you mean I just missed this? DOH did anyone grab an extra? lol -
Thanks! If you noticed my page, I have some homebrew action including Sky Jaguar, Space Invaders Collection and Yie Ar Kung-Fu which I bought direct when they were released. A couple other brews are boxed Steamroller and Ms Space Fury with instructions. I definitely appreciate the homebrew/repro scene! Might have a couple others not listed; need to do an inventory. Wished I woulda bought Deflector Kollection before they had the name switch (was called Double Breakout at first I think.) I was just looking at the manual on-line for Super Sketch and got a chuckle out of a typo on page 7. it says "Your fist picture" lol (no 'R' in first on the left side of the page) http://www.colecovis...etch manual.pdf Gonna have to look at mine now

Hi all Been away from the forums for a while (5 or 6 years lol) I am quite delighted to see the Colecovision actiivty and the work on the rarity list! My colecovision collection page is here: http://members.shaw....opage/index.htm Sorry for the offsite link. click on the main gallery to see all the pictures of the carts (one or 2 dead links) Page hasnt been updated in about the same 6 years but not too many additions (maybe a couple. need to look at my collection) If you google "colecovision collection" my page comes up first so it seems peeps are gettin use out of it Not sure if i can even update that site anymore. If anyone has questions or comments, please post away. A couple notables in my collection: -Sean Kelly's All-in-one Multi-cart As I understand, there were about 10-15 of these ones made (More of the lesser multi-carts were made I think. This was his last one and he ran into copyright problems with the Telegames games because they retained their rights; I think that just recently expired. On the cart it says: "Not to be sold, traded, auctioned, or otherwised transferred in ownership!" ) And yes, mine works -Complete Super Sketch -Dig Dug, Joust, Pac-man -All Xonox carts Condition on some of the carts could be improved for sure. I get occasional emails about the 20th century carts. Here is the story from an old 2006 post of mine: from ecoleco website and emails: "We started Adam's House and Ecoleco to assist and continue support for Colecovision and Adam Coleco Computer customers back in the 1980's. Over the years this support has become non-profit, essentially less than profitable as we continue at a loss. We continue, however, because we love the Colecovision game system and the Adam computer and game system and we have an inventory of supporting products that would otherwise be disposed of due to the high cost of shipping to another vendor - essentially depriving anyone of these items that are valuable to those who also love these systems." "When Coleco industries inc went into bankruptcy we were doing quite well and they contacted us for purchase of inventory remaining and the unreleased games and software. It was quite surprising, but it was the very last inventory produced and all the supporting hardware and software. We never promised we'd still be supporting the Colecovision, but we have never seen any reason to stop. Guess they knew we'd be a good choice to support their customers and primary products." "Most of the 20th Century Fox games were unreleased. We bought most of the stuff from Coleco and had CBS produce the games for us with the labels." These are really as close to an official realease of the games as there could be; the legal rights holder had a production run done. But I refer to them as "CBS copies" for lack of anything else to call them. Not sure how many were of each made. Pretty sure Escape from the Mindmaster is a copy in this same way as well and have it that way on that subpage, as well as Fall Guy. Cheers and long live Colecovision!

Has anyone bought from www.ecoleco.com?
kelman66 replied to ColecoNation's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I dont really know, but I would be willing to bet that your Spy Hunter and Tapper actually are the real deal. Maybe not. Escape from the Mindmaster is definately kinda one of those "pseudo"-reproduction as described above. Their prices are high for some games, but not bad at all for some of the rarer ones actually. They are all priced the same really. And for the reproductions, I think those prices are pretty fair really, since they actually had them produced, as opposed to just reselling. And as they mentioned, they basically operate at a loss. That Scooter stuff is their bread and butter. (I know, wtf?) I think it is great that they have kept it going all these years. I have considered sending them some of my surplus supercommons and broken carts or hardware as a donation, for any use they can put them to. I would have to ship them down there, but hey.... -
Has anyone bought from www.ecoleco.com?
kelman66 replied to ColecoNation's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I have bought from them a few times. No problems. I had to make special arrangements to purchase because I am in Canada. They are a good source of coleco stuff. I plan on buying more. But I think I have the answers you seek: A while ago, I asked them about the history of some of the 'protos' that you see. They responded that they bought the remaining stock of coleco stuff back in the 80s. They had CBS electronics produce runs on some of the unreleased games. So they would be 'copies', except that they had official license to produce the games, and they had them made by CBS. That is as close to official releases as was possible for those games. I have a few them that you can see at: http://members.shaw.ca/kelly_davies/cbscopycarts.htm Same with the Bitcorp games. They are hard to distinguish from real, and I have seen a few people on ebay pay a lot for what, I am fairly positive, were copies that came from adam's house (ecoleco). Most of the other stuff that they have is the real-deal though. from ecoleco website and emails: "We started Adam's House and Ecoleco to assist and continue support for Colecovision and Adam Coleco Computer customers back in the 1980's. Over the years this support has become non-profit, essentially less than profitable as we continue at a loss. Considering the numerous ways the Canadian post screws with people trying to ship from the U.S. to Canada, can you blame them? 909793 I think it has more to do with Xenophobia and Blame Canada for everything.

Noone ships to Canada anymore.

Colecovision -
Tunnels and Trolls

Holy crap. what a marathon. Just read all 18 pages.... I definitely think you must do what you can to complete this task. I love the history of such things. Too bad that greedy brute mishandled it so badly... And he claims to know about value? Evidently not. Maybe this bizarre tale has restored some value to the cart, especially if it does turn out to be a different WIP. I am sure that it is possible to get the data. The problem is obviously accessing the right people and equipment.

ya they are somewhat rare. I got mine in a console/game lot and basically got it fairly cheap.

There is an adaptor that allows you to use Atari contollers on the CV. It looks like the keypad from the CV without the joystick part. 889335 ya it is called the Champ adaptor.

Ya I had a great setup when i was a kid too. And I got back into collecting a little while back and have a nice little collection going. Check out my sig file for pics of my carts. Some rare beauties in there.

Mine would be Bomb Great Escape. It is my only Atari cart in fact. I am pretty sure it is PAL but I only collect Colecovision and saw it mislabelled as such and I got a good deal so I picked it up.

As I understand only the title screen was done for Tunnels and Trolls But didn't they have a barely playable demo for the Adam?

Wanted for COLECOVISION: Montezuma´s Revenge + Boulderdash

A bunch of those are Adam's House repros. I have a few of those myself, bought some recently, and was soon going to buy some of the exact ones you have there. Check the CBS copy carts page at my site link in my sig. One that I have that is not shown above is Escape from the Mindmaster. I think of them as being as close to an official release as possible. They were made by the legal license holder (Adam's House) and manufactured by CBS Electronics. They were just made after the 'crash' came that preempted their releases. Some of these might have had some limited release in Europe around that time. -
The way I understand it is that the PAL games play fine on NTSC CV. But on a somewhat related note, a couple months ago I purchased a Colecovision on ebay that turned out to be CBS Colecovision. I expected it would be PAL because I thought CBS Consoles were only released in Europe, and I would expect the PAL consoles wouldn't work in North America. But when I got it I tested it and it works great. Best of all my Colecovision consoles in fact. Can anybody shed any light on this?

woman says she has an atari what is it?
kelman66 replied to kevin242's topic in Classic Console Discussion
offer her your banking information and see what happens -
I picked up a copy of Bomb's Great Escape on ebay that was incorrectly listed as a Colecovision cart. I only really collect Coleco but had a feeling it was a gem, so I bid on it and won.
