Agreed. Constructive criticism / suggestions is one thing, but absolute pessimism and negativity is another. I will be purchasing this item and most if not all games that are available for it. I collect games for my own interest and to play them…profit is not my motive, entertainment is. For those of us who will be playing the games, this is a great opportunity! For those who are collectors, perhaps OpCode could make the initial release unique in some way. OpCode has produced fantastic games with exceptional quality and game play. There is already a fair amount of interest based on speculation alone; imagine what that interest will grow to once word of mouth begins to spread from satisfied customers! I used to have the wickedest setup when I was a kid and was excited about the possibilities of the platform and was devastated when things crashed. I think that it is great that Opcode is keeping the dream alive and if he wants to make a limited number of these essentially for fun, I am all for it. If he only makes a limited number, then I would be one of the lucky few if I got one. It does seem like a 'new system' sorta, but that is what the 'real' Super Game Module would have likely accomplished as well. It seems to me that this system has and is experiencing a real resurgence. Besides I have blown a crapload of money on my collection and this wouldnt be as much as i paid for a few of my individual carts like Xonox double-enders. Count me in as an interested party.
