  1. I'm looking for a non-working TRS-80 Model III or IV. However, I need the case to be in decent shape for a retro-computing project I want to build. The system can even be stripped down, as I don't need the motherboard, power supply, drives, or CRT. I will need the metal housing material inside though (drive rack and other metal frame parts). I would prefer if I could pick one up locally (I live in Northwest Ohio) but will also consider paying shipping for one as well. I'm going to gut and redesign this thing completely, so if your Model III/IV has any collector value to you at all I'm not interested in it. I have no idea why people on eBay think these things in broken condition are worth their weight in precious metals. Thank you for reading.
  2. Hello. I recently acquired a Cordata CS40 8088 computer system. The motherboard has a built in clock but unfortunately I do not have the original disks and utilities for the system. I'm currently running Epson DOS 3.2 on it but sure would like to have the original diskettes that came with this system. Thanks.
  3. Hello, I have a rather peculiar PC-2 I'm hoping someone can help me identify. I purchased it a few months ago on eBay and it came with everything (printer, books, larger leather case, pens, etc..). The auction stated nothing about it containing the 8KB chip so I was happily surprised to find it had one installed. The first thing I did was power the unit up and issue the "PRINT MEM" command to see the 10KB, but instead it reported 24576 (24KB)? I can't find anything on the net about PC-2s coming with 16KB pre-installed. Does anyone know if there were PC-2s made with 16KB base RAM, perhaps as engineering samples or for in-house use by Tandy employees/engineers only? It has a rather low serial number of B0004806. Any info on this beast would be appreciated.
