gay used to mean happy- now it means anything but with new definitions, as based on suicide rates and mental health issues as uncovered through medical, psychological, and psychiatric statistics and criteria  as well as social evaluative statistics. It would seem that even when a community is entirely supported or comprised of a social construct of like minded individual with such affinities that these rates do not go down and some cases increase. I sure hope the root cause gets discovered before too many people are lost.
