Getting a scanning app and save as PDF. You know, keep just a toe or two in the past.

Looking forward to playing this today. Thanks @Merlin_85. It was shared in the Atari 2600 Homebrews Facebook group today.

Yeah, wish I was a local. I'd love to get Micro League BB. I played that to death back in the day on my 800.

What Xbox 360 game are you currently playing?
socrates63 replied to moycon's topic in Microsoft Xbox 360
isn’t that a scary ass game that you have to play with the room light on? Not that I do but a friend told me. I guess to didn’t want to sleep after all -
What Xbox 360 game are you currently playing?
socrates63 replied to moycon's topic in Microsoft Xbox 360
No one is playing on the 360 in 2020? I play Halo Reach in firefight mode almost daily on my Xbox One X and I’ve been playing it so long that I don’t remember how long. -
Anyone here currently doing 2600 repairs and AV mods?

In the AtariAge Facebook group, someone asked a similar question. Couple names popped up there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/atariage/permalink/10158163483485255/ -
I placed my second order today. I’ve always found him responsive to email (replies by next day). Shipping on the first order was a little slow (2 weeks from order to package arrival) but acceptable.

Very sorry for the loss of your boy Milo I'm glad you will have good memories with you for always.

Thanks for the info. I found the bin file for Space Rocks and just loaded it this morning via Harmony Encore -- an amazing game. I'll look into the solution you mentioned.

I recently tried Space Rocks on my 7800 and it wouldn’t work. I then read that some 7800 may run into compatibility issues as mentioned in this thread. I’ve always wanted a 6 switcher and it should arrive in a few days — problem solved (hopefully)

Mine arrived yesterday and I got to try the Lock-on 2600 with my 7800. First, the adapter looks fantastic -- very sturdy, attractive label. It fits the 7800 very comfortably and is very stable. Cartridges stack with it without effort and come off easily as well without pulling out the Lock-on 2600 from the 7800. I'm very happy that I can play Imagic cartridges now on my 7800 with the Lock-on 2600 attachment. Previously, I could even get Imagic cartridges to align and connect with my 7800. Harmony Encore works fine with the adapter as well. As seen in my photo, the base of the 2600 cartridge is flush with the 7800 top surface. It makes the cartridge look taller/longer but the Lock-on 2600 looks like its part of the cartridge -- very natural look. Great work, @ChrisKewl and @winz_mod!

Atari RGB Light Sixer Repair
socrates63 replied to ZeroPage Homebrew's topic in ZeroPage Homebrew's Discussion
To this casual observer, two amazing things stand out -- (1) Nathan's technical skills, passion, and ability to document the repair, (2) the fact that you can get component output from the venerable 2600. I previously heard about RGB and Scart with regards to the 2600 but never heard anything about component output #moreyouknow -
Feels great! If I remember correctly, the arcade Space Invaders only had button controls. Games with only left and right joystick movement also feel good. I tried Galaxian earlier and Galagon also felt very natural.

Why yes I do 😁 It arrived yesterday. I posted this in a different thread. It also works superbly with Decathlon.

I've been working with @RetroGameBoyz the past few weeks on a custom controller. I've always wanted an arcade Asteroids style controller and it arrived today. The case is compact and the buttons are a little smaller than standard arcade buttons to accommodate the case, but everything felt good and comfortable. Mike is great to work with. This is my fourth custom Atari controller from him (and soon a fifth -- a 4-way joystick). Unfortunately, I couldn't get Asteroids to work on my 7800 -- not sure why. I tried the bin with the Harmony cart and also an actual Asteroids cart but with both, the screen flickered on and off. I also had trouble with a few other games (e.g., Space Rocks, Phoenix)... maybe it's my setup with s-video from 7800 to RetroTINK 2X to HDMI and TV. I found that the RetroTINK can be finicky with certain signals. I actually have on hand an s-video to HDMI converter box that I ordered a month ago. I'll try that in the morning -- fingers crossed. In any case, I haven't had a chance to try the controller with the game that I most wanted to use it for, but it worked great with Star Castle, Gravitar, and Galaxian. Some games just feel more natural with only buttons.

Please add me to the waiting list. I thought I almost broke my 7800 pulling out some cartridges.

I purchased several cart holders -- pleasant and quick transaction. .

How old were you when you played your first Atari 2600 game?
socrates63 replied to Rhindle The Red's topic in Poll Forum
I was probably in 5th grade and played on my friend Darryl's VCS. I got my own shortly afterwards. -
Ha! I ordered Extra Terrestrials today from Good Deal Games in part to support the museum in a small way.
-
Nice! That's the dream... someday I recently ordered a twin stick controller from @RetroGameBoyz to play T:ME Salvo.
-
As I looked more into the homebrew scene, I've recently been tempted to grab a 5200... but holding off for now. 😇

Darrell showing a screen cap of Darrell -- I see what you're doing there Mr. Spice 🤠

These arrived today. I'm just overwhelmed by how this community supports hardware more than 40 years old with software that's lights out. And AtariAge box and packaging is first rate as well. T:ME Salvo Juno First Squish 'Em Berzerk Voice Enhanced
