Didn’t know about that. Thanks @SpiceWare

Here's what I have. I bought most of them directly from the AtariAge store and a few from eBay or AA members. I wish I was a member here when Princess Rescue was originally released. T:ME Salvo, Juno First, Squish 'Em, and Berzerk Voice Enhanced are in transit from the AA store. I will soon have over 30 homebrew carts but so far have only played Jump VCS, Super Pac-Man, Galagon, and Amoeba Jump. 2020 was the first time I plugged in an Atari cartridge in nearly 40 years and rekindled my first console love, and it's all due to the amazing homebrew scene and AtariAge.

I ❤️ the cartridge art. It takes me back to the 80s when I played D&D as a kid -- the atmosphere is very reminiscent of old school AD&D books and module art. I was even more floored when Al mentioned to me in FB that the programmer and artist were one and the same person -- you're very talented Mr. @mickmuze. Looking very forward to the physical release. I hope it comes with a box?

Will do. We're still in the design phase so it'll probably be a while before I actually have it in hand. Until then, Star Castle and Space Rocks sit on the shelf unopened.

Sweet! I’m working right now with Mike on an all-button controller for Asteroids and Star Castle. Getting a 4way will be next.

My order from @RetroGameBoyz arrived today -- my second 7800 joystick and a Robotron gamepad. They look and feel great. Controllers are light and yet feel very sturdy. I especially love that the gamepad has thumbsticks that screw on the d-pad as I prefer thumbsticks over d-pad. Great work, Mike.

Dedicated Battlezone Robot Tank tread controller

Always cool to see game-specific controllers. I'm looking into having retrogameboyz build me an all-button Asteroids controller. -
That makes sense. Thanks @SmittyB

Sorry for the noob question... do XM enhanced games require additional hardware like the XM module that's in development? Or, is the capability carried in the cartridge? Reading here and other threads, I couldn't figure it out.

Cool! I also asked about a 4way stick, an absolute must for Pac-Man. He mentioned making one for someone. I will order one in the near future for sure. Please share your experiences once you get some time with it @Kaboomer

I second the controllers by http://retrogameboyz.com. I ordered this one a couple of weeks ago. It feels good and controls very well. I was a bit concerned originally about how it would feel in my hand. I found it comfortable to hold in my hand while playing games. It also has rubber feet so you can set it down for table top play as well. Buttons also light up when the 7800 is powered on. Yesterday, I ordered another one in a different color and also ordered the Robotron game pad. Mike is easy to work with and he offers 30 days return.

Some more homebrews arrived this week. Invasion X I got because it an update of Demon Attack. The Rikki & Vikki got great reviews and I'm hoping to get my non-gamer wife to play co-op. -

Mail call — my AtariAge order came in. Lately, I’ve been playing Atari 2600 games and homebrews. I really love the simple game play mechanics of 2600 games. AtariAge boxed releases are very cool. -
Thank you for the heads up on Tower of Rubble. I'll definitely buy it on day 1 -- hope it will have a box.

@Dionoid I appreciate you updating this thread. Because of your confirmation, I didn’t hesitate to order an Encore last week for my 7800 when I first learned about the Harmony cartridge. And I just learned that you’re the developer of Amoeba Jump — you are the bestest

I'm starting to look for a clean wood grain sixer (heavy, light) myself as that was my VCS as a kid. It'll be for display only as I already have a 7800 and Retron77.

What's cool in Spokane, WA?

That map is a cool feature -- certainly interesting to see a visual map of member locations. -
Order placed for an Encore -- thanks for the sale, @batari. I just got a 7800, and plugged in my first 2600 cartridge into an Atari console for the first time in almost 40 years. I look forward to revisiting the 2600 library.

I'm excited to have joined the 7800 club. I picked up one off of eBay that has the UAV mod and was recapped. It was very exciting yesterday when I plugged in an Atari game cartridge for the first time since the early 80s. I never owned a 7800 and look forward to playing 2600 and 7800 games that I've been collecting the past year. A17C 5117922

socrates63 replied to Albert's topic in Atari 2600
Hi, Al. I ordered a bunch of games last Friday but forgot to specify the free game. I don't care which of the two I receive but is it too late to include one? My order shows as Pending. Edit -- and since we're sharing, I ordered: Halo 2600 Space Rocks Star Castle Draconian Scramble Dungeon Mappy Super Cobra Looking at the recommendations in this thread, I'll need to pick up a few more in the future. -
I bought Super Circus for the 7800 from FroggoGamer. We had great communications throughout the transaction. The item was as described and packed super well for safe delivery. Thanks!
