Oh dang... my favorite has always been the Wico sticks and they've been sitting in a drawer all these 30+ years. I hope they still work and haven't stiffened up.
I recently picked up a Retron77 but haven't had a chance to hook it up or try the joystick that it came with. From some of the video reviews, it seems to work well, and it looks close enough to the CX40 which is my second favorite.

I bought Frankenstein and Private Eye games from Chuck -- friendly, easy to deal with seller. He even left me a hand-written a note in the package.

I bought an Atari 800XL from zetastrike. Good communications. Transaction was smooth. The computer was packed well.

If you can pick one up for $10 or less then go for it. I think it’s worth it at that point to give it a try. Fruit Ninja was great with the Kinect.

eBay pickup from earlier this week — I’m a fan of games published by Synapse. Favorites include Blue Max, Shamus, Necromancer and Fort Apocalypse.
Over the past year, I have collected 15 Atari 8-bit games complete in box. Eight of them are Synapse games. They are for display as I currently don’t have an Atari computer (hope to pick one up soon).

Bummer — I just joined AA today and would have loved to pick up a copy. Hope there’s a second print run.

It’s been a few days and I’m still waiting for my AtariAge registration to be approved. After talking to John Hancock and his friend last Saturday at Seattle Retro Gaming Expo, I’m ready to jump back into Atari 8-bit, my first computer as a kid.
I’d love to buy the 800xl if still available. I registered here as socrates63 and have 1000+ feedback on eBay under the same name.

I purchased an in-the-box Atari 800 from Tim. Great communications throughout and a smooth transaction! I'm very happy to have my very first personal computer back in the fold. Thanks, Tim.
