  1. Quick question that has been pressing me - I know the heavy sixers are desirable for their better looking picture when playing games - do the light sixers also share this better picture or is it solely a feature of the H6s?

  2. I’ve got a 7800 for my Atari fix, a Sears branded Intellivision, and I’m really itching to complete the trilogy with a Colecovision. Gear Acquisition Syndrome is real.

All you need is Collectorvision Phoenix to replace the Colecovision to make the entire trilogy mismatched. Maybe add in a XEGS instead of a 5200?

  3. I’m fresh out of grad school and looking for my first “real” career. I had an interview a week ago, for a job that felt perfect. I thought it went very well, but I just got the email saying they chose someone else. Job hunting has to be one of the most demoralizing, frustrating thing I’ve been through.

That's par for the course. They probably just gave it to someone with more experience. You'll get a good job soon. What field are you in?

Agricultural and environmental science. I’m focused in on diagnostics of plant pathogens and insect pests.

  4. I found a nice loose copy of Worm Whomper - one of the games that made me want an Intellivision. I was hoping to have a CIB copy (love the box-art) but I'd rather have the game than not. I can complete my copy sometime in the future.

Played this at a friends house not too long ago. It's a surprisingly tight and very fun game. i'm shocked it wasn't released on the Atari 2600, seems like it might have been doable.

  5. I had the itch to grab an Intellivision, so that's what I did. I'm excited to dive into this console library.

One of my favorite consoles, enjoy!  The library has such a unique feel, and there are a lot of real gems.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! The unique feel of the library is what drew me in. Worm Whomper is a game I’d like to grab complete someday because of the awesome boxart.

I was surprised to find out a few weeks ago that I'm an INTV owner. Bought one years ago for about £5 but never turned it on. No idea if it works. Thought I'd thrown it out but it turned up when me and my dad was rummaging through their garage for something else. Very dusty. Still haven't tried it.
