  1. Welp, ain't I a fool haha. After a few hours of playing I got proven wrong. I figure I'll add some more feedback as to not clog up the thread. With how incredible of a port this version is, I honestly would believe that it might've given the Atari 7800 a more notable reputation of being able to be practically arcade-perfect, had it have been released back in the day. The controls are just as perfect as can be and the collision is the perfect balance of tight, but not unfair - when a death occurs, it's completely my fault and not a result of any shortcomings that the game might have. It's no wonder this homebrew won an award!
  2. I can't stop visiting this thread, this port is just so excellent. It's really tempting me to buy an Atari 7800 just so I can play this magnificent homebrew (though the problem is, I don't have a lot of space in my apartment, so I don't know if it'd be worthwhile). I'd badger about ROM availability and even paying extra for it, but I know that I'd get the same answer as everyone else hahaha. Though one inaccuracy I've noticed is that in the Hearts stage, Brutus can jump up at you if you're at the highest floor, which from my testing, doesn't happen in the Arcade version, so that might need to be rectified at a point.
  3. Apologies for the bump, but I figured I'd check in on progress with this project? I'm pretty keen about it so it'd be a shame if it fizzled out
  4. Hello! Sorry if this method of reaching out is incorrect, I wanted to check your website, but it seems to be basically offline. I wanted to see if I could purchase a ROM of Donkey Kong Arcade? I don't own a physical Colecovision so I can only use emulator. Another question I have is if Pac-Man Collection for MSX is available anywhere, since when I want to play it on the go, I can't as RetroArch doesn't support Super Game Adapter, not to mention the more accurate colours and sounds are pretty impressive. I also read somewhere that you recently made Pac-Man Collection 2 that has improvements and additions, though I can't seem to find that anywhere and figured I'd ask if that claim was true. Thanks for reading my long post! Hopefully I haven't made any big-brain oopsies here. Haha
  5. Although I'm not experienced with 2600 programming, I can be more than happy to beta test this version. I've played Dig Dug for years and I'm sure I can see what needs to be adjusted and whatnot. This hack is already fantastic as it is, and would love to see the new upcoming version!
  6. This is looking good! I hope we get an update soon.
  7. This is such an amazing remake! One of the issues I have though is trying to move left and right on the ladders, you basically have to be pixel perfect if you want to move off a ladder. I suggest having more leinency and allowing the player to move a few more pixels from the floor, rather than being on the exact pixel.
