I'm glad the heavy wind is over. Gave me almost 24 hours of stress. A couple of skinny trees went down in the woods behind our house. All the big trees survived.

  Last Winter a neighbor's tree fell taking out the fence and luckily just our patio overhang/roof. I feel kind of bad, but ended up taking out a big tree in the front yard that was completely hollowed out by some beetles or something and two big trees in the back. Just didn't want to deal with the liability of it falling on the house or a neighbors house.

  The wind is definitely awful and has been getting worse over the years! Various neighbors have lost about 4 trees around here due to wind (and lightning)...
