"The heavenly aroma still hung in the house. But it was gone, all gone! No turkey! No turkey sandwiches! No turkey salad! No turkey gravy! Turkey Hash! Turkey a la King! Or gallons of turkey soup! Gone, ALL GONE!"

Cooking a turkey is so easy, though.  Rinse it off, Put it in a pan, drizzle some oil and seasoning/rub if you like, and then wait 5 hours.  You really don't have to do much.  It's the side dishes that take all the time, if you want to get fancy, but you don't need to.
