Totally agree, I don't get any benefit whatsoever from wireless mice, keyboards, etc.  USB all the way.

I bought a mouse the other day and the guy at the store asked if i knew they had cordless. Told him "i don't like them and would rather USB" he was just looking at me weird and smirking. Guess he likes replacing batteries and having intermittent dropouts...

You don't use rechargeable batteries?  The only reason I stopped using them is that my current Mac keyboard, mouse and trackpad all have built in rechargeable batteries.

A wired or wireless keyboard doesn't make any difference to me, since I can only touch type with proper posture.  But I like the freedom of movement with a cordless mouse and would never go back to a corded one.
