    Are you patronizing your local restaurants?  We had Fratelli's last night and a few days before we had Pizza Hut.  Both were take out of course.

    Anyone else having trouble with status updates?  Mine won't work and then suddenly it will work. Surprised if this gets through.

    Maryland is closing everything starting 5pm today.  Essentials like pharmacies, grocery stores, gas stations, mail, and banks will remain open.

    I went to the Walmart for regular weekly trip and they still had most of what I wanted.  I was surprised to see the canned food aisle was still there.

      Around here, pizza and other frozen convenience foods were the first things to sell out. Besides toilet paper and hand sanitizer that is. Plenty of fruits, veggies and vitamin supplements on the shelves still. ;)

    The local Walmart is completely out of TP.  I wonder if people have wiped out the dollar stores too.

      I watched some dingbat pay gas station prices for 6 four packs of Charmin TP tonight. I couldn't help but shake my head and laugh.

      In 2001, they lined up at gas stations like the 1970's gas crisis.  TP is 2020's version of gas.  All the stores around here are out of TP.

    Once the idiots quit selling off in the stock market, it will be a good time to buy while everything is undervalued.

      I just invest in a mutual fund, so I don't think I can do much more than put extra money as a one time influx towards shares of whatever the mutual fund stocks are. I don't really look into it too much, but I know I'm in the high risk high reward zone. I don't have the kind of money to bother any other way.

      I read somewhere the reasons why people panic and hoard something like TP during an ongoing or pending disasters. Surprisingly, walking around with dirty butt wasn't one of them.
