Ah, Daylight Savings. Somehow, around this time of year, I always end up getting sick (like I am now).

Wonky theromostat that doesn't kick in until the outdoor temperature is really low?

The colder it is outside, the more frequently the furnace needs to come on. So you spend less time with no blowing hot air, and with the ambient temp low but not yet low enough to trigger the thermostat to turn the furnace on. When the outside temp is warmer, the opposite happens, and you end up spending more time in a colder living space with no warm air blowing.

Are you all electric? If so, its kicking on the heat strips when it gets really cold

There have been some days where we have been on that fine line of warmer and rain or colder and snow. Generally, it has been on the warmer side of the line.

It's warm here...61 degrees today! But we'll need snow for the snowpack so there's no drought this Summer...
