there are a LOT of little errors in that movie. Just saw it again (for the first time in its entirety) the other day. Kind of a mess actually, but a really fun mess! Love all the mall shots and Phoebe Cates of course!

Been a lot of years since I saw the movie, but isn't it based in California? If they wanted to, they could have football games on Christmas Day and probably still go surfing afterward. Granted, that's not how football scheduling works, but they could do it!
