On the default setting you can only shoot straight up. If you switch it to A then you can also shoot diagonally. I forgot if anything else changes.

Assuming the Redskins make the playoffs, I hope they get to play Dallas again. Currently the Redskins have the Vikings beat by 1/2 game for the second wild card spot.

Atari 2600 Kaboom! - 289 minutes High score of the week: 60,806 I had a lot of trouble focusing this week. Sometimes I tried too hard and other times not hard enough. I just couldn't find that zone of balance.

Spider Fighter The timed games: Skiing, Barnstorming, Grand Prix, Sky Jinks @Jin We played Gorf and Mario Bros. in season 5. But I wouldn't mind another crack at both those games.

I think I paid around $25 for a sealed new in box H.E.R.O.. I forget what I paid for the loose cartridge but it wasn't that much, although it is a rarity 5 so maybe that's not such a bad price. -

666 for Atari 2600. It's funny: I sometimes get 666 or 777 in my score when playing Kaboom!. I also get full houses with the numbers grouped together.

LOL @ option 2 I actually had most of the games that were played this past season. I think I have about 350 to 400 different games. I didn't have the supercharger games or the homebrews. I bought a copy of Elevators Amiss for the silver medal bracket competition.

One more thing I just thought of: You don't have to play every week. Your cumulative points will stay intact.

I think the game gets revealed a day before each week's competition begins. Sometimes they're a little late but if they are they give an extra day to play. Like karo said, everyone plays the same game during the regular season. At the END of the season the top 24 get grouped into gold , silver, and bronze medal brackets for single elimination tournaments.

Welcome to the site! When season 6 starts (I'm told it will be in January) all you have to do is play the assigned game every week and post your score in the thread for that week. You will be automatically added to the participants list. Last place for the week scores 1 point and each score above that goes up 1 per player. So if there are 40 players for the week last place gets 1 point and 1st place gets 40. 2nd place gets 39, 3rd place gets 38, etc. Check out some of the season 5 posts to get a better idea of how it works.
