Atari 2600 Kaboom! - 672 minutes Breakout - 57 minutes Kaboom! High score of the week: 297,384

I have the 1986 version with the yellow/orange label and large lettering on the end label. On the face label right underneath "Breakout" it says "Use with joystick controllers". Is this an error that is common?

Yes, on mine the last two bricks were taken out right away with some odd bounces off the side and top.

Game 5A: 143 Actually 140-141 but it took 2-3 seconds for the last ball to drop A faster time is possible of course. In the twin galaxies Timed Decathlon several years ago I cleared 1B both sets in 4 minutes 22 seconds. So that would be 131 for one set. And someone got under 4 minutes so an even faster time than that is possible.

Good question. Even if you lose all your lives on purpose once you're finished you will still be losing a few seconds.

I paid under $30 for mine but that was about 15 years ago I think.

I've bought paddles, joysticks, and a computer chip for the Atari 2600. He helped me figure out which one I needed and that I needed one. That Atari works great now.

When I first got mine they were great. They were tight and made crisp change of direction. But within a month or two they got jumpy/jittery. Also on one pair the second player's paddle wouldn't fire after about a month of usage. I don't think I will be ordering any more paddles from them.

I think I am coming in last place for Death Star Battle. I came in 1st place for Pitfall II. Has this ever been done before: someone comes in first on one game and last on another?
