  1. I have tried many SMS games and they worked like a charm on Mega Sg, using jailbreak 7.5. In which games did you encounter issues?
  2. You can see on the link a comparison for all available N64 hdmi options, uploaded yesterday. Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. Looks like that was back on June 5th, unless there was a newer reply that I missed. Flash is fine for the Everdrive GG. The average time to load a GG rom is about 7 seconds. They are tiny. That would be really cool, can someone confirm if only a physical convertor is required for something like that to work? Let's not forget that officially the Mega Sg does not support Colecovision though. Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  4. I did, the firmware documentation mentions though that some games may be incompatible with the no-delay bios. I played around 5 games and works fine so far. Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  5. Seems you are right. I just read the jailbreak documentation and Colecovision is the only system that requires a proper BIOS for the games to run.
  6. I have the BIOS only for the Mega CD, but every other system works perfectly without any extra BIOS (GG, SMS, GEN). Can someone advice if Coleco needs an additional bios file? Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks for the tip. One more thing: I have installed the latest jailbreak firmware on Mega Sg and everything works like a charm except Colecovision. Whenever I try to load a Coleco ROM (after having chosen the Coleco core), I get the message "Cannot load BIOS". Any ideas? Thanks Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  8. May I ask what video settings do you people use on Mega Sg (HDTV) for Mega Drive, SMS and GG games? Resolutions used per platform as well as scalers. Thanks in advance.
  9. Many thanks, appreciate it. Yeap, unfortunately many people don't understand what frictionless trade really means: import fees to everything, from everywhere, coming soon... It is taken for granted everyday but in reality it's an EU priviledge. Politics mess up everything ?
  10. Thanks for the info, did you pay the import fees to Fedex upon delivery? I know I can do that but my point was that due to the small number of units released, the 32X price is way too inflated today and very high for what if offers (a very limited library).
  11. Yeap, as the Mega is in essence a hybrid ''device'' that works as a flash cart for Mega CD, MD, SMS and 32x but at the same time it provides FPGA simulation only for Mega CD. That's why I would like more clarity when presented a hybrid device due its more complicared nature.
  12. Finding a 32X is not easy as only 700,000 were sold worldwide and most machines will start failing at some point anyway, they can't live forever. The time will come when FPGA will be the only way to play 32X. Its library is VERY limited anyway but some interesting games do exist.
  13. When reading the first paragraphs, one get the impression that 32X hardware is not needed, it should be more clear. But this is just me.
  14. Yeap I just saw that. Mega SG emulates only the Mega CD hardware so it's pretty obvious an actual 32X add-on is needed for 32X games. I can't understand how reviewers can get this so wrong.
  15. That's true, I will definitely go for a Mega SD as I already own an X5. I wish it was a little bit cheaper as I just bought the mega sg but I understand it's a complex "device". Had anybody tried Mega SD yet? I can see an August delivery date at TO website.
  16. That's not great as I can only think of around ten genesis games supporting battery saves. So the only way of saving, even using the custom firmware, is using an Everdrive X7? That's a little bit disappointing. Also, can any European tell me if import fees (20% for non-EU countries) had to be paid when buying a Mega Sg from the company's website? Thanks again
  17. Could you elaborate on the differences between the saves created by the jailbreak firmware and the X7 save states if there are any? I only have an X5 so what would the X7 offer more when used with the jailbreak firmware? Finally, can I go back to the original Mega Sg firmware if I want to? Many thanks
  18. Hello people. I just have a couple of questions regarding the Mega SG jailbreak firmware and playing Genesis/SMS games. 1) Do I have to use an Everdrive to create game saves for roms loaded in the SD card or the custom firmware can do that on its own? 2) Can I use an Everdrive Genesis X5 to load games, when using the jailbreak firmware, or is it better to directly load them from the Mega Sg sd card? If it is possible, can I create game saves this way? Apologies for my noobie questions in advance.
