My cat reminds me that he's nocturnal by waking me up evey couple hours at night to feed it...

Well, - in summer-time - thats how my cat also behaves: going in out - usually through my bedroom window - like 7 or 8 times during a night!

Oh those furballs!!

I once slept over in the sofa of a friend who had a clowder of cats wandering around all night. They were friendly and everything, but waking up a couple of times in the middle of the night by having one or more cats on top of you was a ... new experience to me.
