Paul Verhoeven (Director),  Joss Whedon (Writer), Bruce Campbell (Hero),  everyone still alive from the Brady Bunch (Family in trouble), ...Howard Shore, Basil Poledouris or Danny Elfman for the music, and SFX by ILM (Prefer older style like matte effects from Battlestar or Star Wars)...Or Douglas Trumbull (Close Encounters, Silent Running)

Also Magmavision's answer was Awesome and AtariBrian's was Hilarious!

Meh. Been done. It's called "The Terminator franchise." I think they should do one called "Robot Ron" with the roles reversed - a race of robots trying to avoid being hunted and shut down by humans. But Netflix have done that as well.

What about good actor-candidates for 1) last survivors of the human kind,  - love-interests [will our hero be a father of the human race to come], 2) who to personify (ie act) the cold, callous Robot Army decimating the human race, still give it characteristic traits (like ‘agent Smith’, or ‘terminator’ in Terminator 1...?

No drama without strong character-representation on all levels...

What about style/mode of emotional build-up; like Matrix, like Terminator, like ‘War of the Worlds’?
