  1. Do we have the Klax 7800 ROM?
  2. I think the Evercade won’t do Arcade Ports for some strange reason, but that was a long list! I think the compilations seems to be tied up with the Companies owning the licenses... Would like to see a Capcom-compilation... (NES, SNES, Genesis etc). And an Atari 5200 compilation. And a Lynx 3 and 4 compilation: hopefully including Warbirds and Ramparts and many others...
  3. I’m glad I got hold of a copy from Good Deal Games... before selling out. Hope they do a re-run. The 7800 deserves it.
  4. It says out of stock... ... and I guess it aint the Klax underwear thats out of stock...
  5. Which games do people here want to see in the future on the Evercade?
  6. Klax underwear!! Ahh - a dream would’ve come true!
  7. I got Klax for the 7800 from Good Deal Games (but I think its sold out now). I haven’t played through it, but others have said its complete except for music. If you liked it on Arcade or Lynx you’ll want it for your 7800.
  8. I think the cartridges for Rikki and Vikki were produced in Estonia. Anyway, perhaps the company producing carts for Rikki and Vikki would have some interest in providing carts for AtariAge... ...??
  9. So, after finishing reading Dracula yesterday - with blooddrinking and bloodspurting decaptitations and vampires rotting back to natural death... I today got ‘SMURF (TM) - Resque in Gargamels Castle’(TM) for the Atari 2600...

    ?... and its awesome!

      Army of Darkness - One of my All Time Favorite movies!! Saw it in the theater with a girl that looked a lot like Hermione from the Harry Potter movies (Except she was in her 20's)...

      @GoldLeader

      Ok, I watched it on a small telly back in the nineties on over-used VHS-tape, together with nerdy pals eating chips and laughing hard so I had to dodge snot...

  10. So I thought I’d gotten hold of all the highly advanced 2600 titles - Radar Lock, Solaris, Tank Command, Tunnel Runner... only to learn about ‘Robot Tank’... So I hope it’s quality!

      @Curious Sofa

      Not good, not good; have only 7800, no 2600.

      On the positive side; I have PAL, Secam and NTSC 7800s...

      Well let's cross our fingers for you:

      Basically it sounds hit / miss on whether the cart will play.  It DOES play on my 7800, but I may have just gotten lucky.

      If it doesn't, well, time to emulate :)

    Remember back in the 80ies when some said computer gaming made one dull. (Did they ever try Tetris?)

      @7800Knight

      The book is bit more extensive though...

      But whats there (that is on the Lynx version) is quality, and at least generally faithful to the book (even though the solutions of the puzzles of course are novel, and not like in novel).

      @GoldLeader

      I think both collections were good.

      As it is with collections, one cannot expect every game to ones own favourite, but I had plenty of fun-time with both...

    4. Giles N

      Giles N

      There is definitly room for more Lynx-collections on the Evercade...

      ... tons of stuff I’d like to see...

  12. Finally gor the modded Sega Master in the mail. Yes, sound is much better on certain games, but playing 60hz on PAL is awesome. Out Run smooth?

  13. Hope everything is alright with Albert...

      Usually its no good to be eaten by interdimensional plasma...

      ... particulary when you have to

      run a retro-game-website...

      Look into my profile to see ‘’old-school’’ link

  15. Oh, - frustrating that ‘newer’ 2600 games comes in PAL and NTSC versions. Got River Raid 2 and Spider Fighter; both good, but they were on different regions... aaarggh

    1. GoldLeader

      GoldLeader

      Does this mean ya got NTSC, but needed PAL?

    2. Giles N

      Giles N

      No, I have three 7800s: PAL, Secam and NTSC, but I need to use the rigth cartridge on the right old-school-setup (PAL/Secam vs NTSC), which is sort of irritating...

      Loved both 2600-games: River Raid 2 (PAL/Secam) and Spider Fighter (NTSC).

      Spider Fighter is like a million times better than Space Invaders... being the same type of game

      Actually I’m sorta running out of retro-console space... these old CRT TVs do demand some serious space...

  16. I think it would be helpful with high availability of masterplays or converter-pieces enabling the use of PC-joystics from the 90ies which has grades of movement/analog movement but are of high quality. I don’t thing the Y-split cables are so rare or costly.
  17. I’ve a spent a small fortune on my Command Control-sticks, the modded Neo-Geo Stick and the modded Jaguar-pad. Now, of course I’m well of as to playing my 5200, but new gamers for this, in many ways underrated system, may be put off by the controller-issue, which is a bit sad, a tiny shame really...
  18. Ok, get your point & fair ‘nough... I think I should have used wordings like ‘it could perhaps be an option worth considering if this or that...’ My impression from the AtariAge store is that there is an interest in providing quality-controllers. So, on that note, combined with the many threads regarding the 5200 controllers I threw it out as something to consider, not like ‘ought to’.
  19. All these optional joy-sticks/pads and converter-pieces are rare and costly, thats the problem... - - - Perhaps AtariAge should begin producing joystic-converters, for use with old PC-joysticks.
  20. @Albert When will Pokey/PokeyOne games be back in store?
  21. I hope AtariAge get around to producing a high-quality controller for the 5200. There are really a lots of games for the systems quite small library that top-quality if we ‘write’ 1982-1984.
  22. Here are my three controller options: (ahem, not cheap):
  23. I see that for Pokey(One) games, there are no ‘add to cart’ option in the store. When will Pokey-based games be back in store? Regards, Giles
