  1. These two are my babies. I named them Pinky and Brain. Enjoy!
  2. How are your Jags cartridge connectors? Any bent pins? Debris?
  3. I personally use GAMEYE for keeping track of my systems and pricing info. It's available for iOS and Android. It has a great interface and is pretty easy to use.
  4. Congratulations on your acquisition. There is an update to the store coming. Sorry, I don't know the details or if a search function will be included. As far as games, check out the Recharged series as it is really good for arcade action. Games in the store have been pretty carefully selected and are pretty high quality (some are a little short on content, but still fun), depending on your preferences.
  5. Have you heard about the lonesome loser?

Bitten by the Queen of Hearts every time.

Have you heard about the lonesome loser?

He's a loser but he still keeps on trying.

  6. This is not going to be on tonight. It will be live tomorrow (5/24/22) at 9 PM EST.
  7. I had this same issue when I first used the VCS on my Samsung 40" from 2015. I needed to adjust the screen size on my TV to, I think it was "native" resolution or something like that. Then the sizing was perfect. Also check if your TV has a "game mode". This will reduce lag and also move the borders in.
  8. I'll have to try this too. I have a FLUSH cart to DUMP this on.🤣
  9. You can also go the E-Bay route. I see one on THIS PAGE for $15. I have done this in the past and they work.
  10. Is there really nobody that can use a free laptop for the price of shipping?  It will be recycled two weeks from today if not claimed HERE .

      That's a shame.

Wrong continent, but I was thinking about it earlier in the week when my similarly aged laptop only flickered in red and black and was barely usable. However today it worked fine again. Must've been low capacity on the battery (with charger plugged in) when I booted Windows and the driver failed to initialize the screen properly. Phew, that it displays as it should again so I don't have to hunt for a new laptop immediately.

It's a nice laptop, I have two 17" ones from that era that have since been retired, played a lot of World of Warcraft on them back in the day!

  11. Yeah man, give it time. It'll update, eventually. Tons of fun to be had but the updates can take a while. I am using my VCS primarily for streaming right now but it will eventually go into my home theater room and be used more for games.
  12. A couple pre rendered explosions instead of randomizing each individual pixel might be good. Select large/small/green/orange/red at random from 3 or 4 pre rendered animations. I like the larger ones btw.
  13. Attention all PC people!!! Check out my give away thread HERE for a great deal on a Dell laptop!!!

I just got mine repaired !   Otherwise I might have wanted it!  Very nice of you to give it away though :)

  14. Alrighty guys and gals, I have another laptop to give away! Dell Inspiron 15" Intel Core Duo @1.86 GHz 4 GB DDR2 RAM 80 GB hard drive DVD RW drive This has Linux Mint 32 bit installed. I can't seem to get the WiFi card to function in Linux but it was working when it was a Windows machine. I just don't have the time to mess with it and besides, I was just going to give this one away anyway. The battery no longer holds a charge so it must be plugged in to operate. Comes with power brick. Free pick up for anyone interested or, you can pay for shipping. I would estimate around $35 bucks or so for USPS.
  15. Nice!!! My tracking shows delivered also. I wasn't expecting it until Monday either. I'm at work now so I guess my wife already knows that I bought another game!🤣
  16. PC. Hmm... Just checked again and nothing is listed.
  17. The Atari VCS has been officially removed from the Game Stop website. There are no more all in packages, base units or controllers. Time to keep an eye on Best Buy!
  18. Payment submitted! Thanks again for doing this Al.🏆
  19. Yes, they introduced that option in the last BIOS update. Atari said they were working on that option many months ago, but seeing as AMD writes the BIOS for their chip, Atari was at their mercy. It's nice because that eliminates the need for GRUB and rEFInd when trying to load an alternate OS.
  20. Congratulations Old CS1! Enjoy that cart! And thank you Adolescent for having a fun give away!!!
  21. Just saw the new video on You Tube. Very nice work. I like the teleporting very much and I get a chuckle every time the loading screen comes up (Releasing the fumes-breathe deep). 🤣 Love the work , keep it up!
  22. It sure would be nice for these things to come with instructions. Just a card would be great instead of opening the box and then having to search the interwebz for features and instructions.
