    Lol! Yeah it’s like they wanted to keep it a secret but it’s in the manual. If you capture the lobster that walks out of the water, it gives you an extra freeze. Definitely useful but I wish it froze the seal. Can’t stand that bastard.

    The Holiday Triple Pack with bonus game will be setup to run a week from today. 

     

    It will run for 3 weeks and finish when the balls drops in NYC. The scoring will be the same as Season 13 except +2 will be given to each game won and records will be +3 for breaking and setting new, +2 for breaking not setting, +1 for tieing records. The theme for this year will be 'Winter Games'....

     

    This is just a little something to help us get by until Season 14 kicks off in January 2021. 👍

    “Balls” dropping every year definitely has a new meaning for me at this age. 😆

It was a loooooonnngg season. I think 18 games / weeks is too much for a Season, I think 16 games / weeks is perfect for a Season. And like Matt said, 'consistency wins', I was able to keep a good level of it week after week. It was alot of fun, especially in these dark times. 👍

    Agreed Rick...18 games was a bit too long, and consistency won over everything.  Great job winning it, and it was a blast to play with all of you here!

There's more strategy here than just at first glance. Another game I thought was a lame Space Invaders knock off when I saw it at a drug store in the early 80's was Astro Invader (known as Kamizake in Japan). I'm reminded of it now because it's another where I can get into a flow state and just tune everything else out. Great fun!

    Nice!  Very solid score there. And I agree, some of these games seem so simple and mindless at first, but when you dive deeper into them there is actual strategy there which the developers intended. I think as kids we didn’t realize this, and it’s very cool to dive back into these games as an adult and realize how much more strategy is involved in these classic games. Love it!

    It would be easier to play with one line at a time and refresh the other lines when you can, but you are on the right track.

     

    As for Maze A Tron...I stay far away from that one.

The screen moves so fast the game is practically unplayable. Bigger scores are definitely possible. I think there are some hidden gems in this game. Going left in the maze seems to be a waste.     Yeah the code covered the shipping for me as well, LOL. But unfortunately the shirt I ordered is out of stock and I got an email from customer service asking me if I wanted a different one. I think I might wind up canceling the order and waiting for the one that I wanted to come back in stock. Bummer!
