Really fun game, I’ve always liked this one, but I find it to be VERY hard...a little too hard I think. I wish there was a way to stop the seal a bit easier, then I think it would have more replay value for me. It gets old fast, but it’s still fun to play in quick bursts. I know this is one of Jacob’s favorites. I am absolutely horrible at it by the way lol.

I frequent the Walmart in Burbank and it's virtually impossible to even find an employee to unlock the case if you wanted to purchase a game or console there.  I've always heard the claim that Walmart is the largest video game retailer in the world, but at least in the stores I regularly visit, I rarely see anyone buying anything in that category, except for Black Friday.  I wonder if a lot of that category is purchased using store pickup now or mostly online as not only don't I see anyone there, but I noticed that a lot of the cover art for the games is starting to fade as a result of the lights in the lock up cases.

I'm wondering if those sales numbers are including online sales?  Wal-Mart does a huge amount of business online as well.

Agree.  I just wonder how they would do a multiplayer dungeon crawl if two people move in opposite directions off either side of the screen.  How would it split up the action?  I can't seem to picture that one...

They may need to move together in order to progress, or have a split screen.  Something like that.

I think Tarmin would not be a good choice. It would be compared to Dungeon Master and probably not favorably. The appeal would not be that wide either in terms of addressing the mass market I think a Intellivision Inc is going for. I would love to be wrong, and would play it personally, but does not have “pick up and play” vibes like other games, would be hard to couch co-op, and it would be hard to make it groundbreaking when so many other games from similarly-powered console already exist.

Cloudy Mountain may work better as an updated remake, and could be made into a multiiplayer dungeon crawler that is much easier to pick up and play than Tarmin would.

Sorry if I read too much into your comment. I must admit I felt a bit attacked since I don't have children either.

No worries. Definitely not “attacking” anyone whatsoever. I don’t do that. I was just commenting on Metal Jesus and his lack of insight based on the questions that didn’t seem relevant to him. That’s all. But I still respect him and the fact that he has an open mind about the Amico.
