    Since VBXE always lives a bit of a shadowy existence, but I'm not a big programmer either, I thought, I'd make a small contribution and create a small slideshow for it ๐Ÿ˜‰. I created all the graphics by myself about a year ago (Iยดve used Stable Diffusion and Automatic1111). The whole technology has developed rapidly in the last 12 months and the possibilities have grown exponentially. Nevertheless, I thought it would be a shame to let my "old" works gather dust and rather do something good with them for the beloved A8 (VBXE). You can download the demo on Demozoo (see my signature), but I attach it here anyway. If you don't have VBXE in your computer, you can watch the demo with Altirra (with active VBXE plugin) without stress. (Advantage here: With F1 you can shorten the long loading time ;)) Attached are a few preview images that were captured directly from Altira with VBXE! Note: These are not the original images but already the final converted graphics for the A8 ๐Ÿ˜Ž. Well, then I hope you like it a bit and have some fun ๐Ÿ™‚!     The ABBUC Software and Hardware Contest 2023 was again a great success๐Ÿ˜Ž! There were 14 great submissions in software and 3 exciting hardware projects! As far as I can see, we had a record participation in the voting this year - with a total of 80 members ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘! Many thanks to all ABBUC members who participated๐Ÿค! Yesterday, at the 38th user meeting in the FBW in Herten, the long-awaited results and prizes were announced!     My most important question to David Paige would be: Why is ATARI so "ignorant" towards all ATARI users outside the United States? There is a huge fan community in Europe and also other continents, which currently have absolutely no chance to buy the current and upcoming (physical) products legally. With this you push extremely many people and the ATARI community in front of the head. Are there any realistic plans to change this in the near future ? Thanks & Cheers, andY

    Here a short update from me (even if I'm not as often present at the moment as I used to ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜ž I have currently received two "advance" entries for the hardware contest ๐Ÿ˜Ž.     Hello Bertrand, it's me again.... Maybe, one stupid question @your new sidecar XE85 project: Are the dimensions and the distances of the keys identical with the part of the ATARI ST/STE case? So could you cut a part out of a broken 520ST case and use it as a case for the Siedecar? Thanks & cheers, andY

    Hi folks, I got one of the first VCS 800 at the Indigogo campaign and I am very happy with it๐Ÿ˜! But since I always like to have at least two of each kind of device in my collection, I have been looking for a cheap second device for a long time. Since ATARI unfortunately (still) doesn't sell the VCS 800 in the EU / Germany, outside the USA you always have to rely on an expensive import with expensive shipping costs and tax fees. The costs start with good luck at about 400$ then often rise to 600$ and more ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ. Now I recently had the fortune to find a private sale in Germany on Ebay. We negotiated a bit and in the end we agreed on a total of 300โ‚ฌ. In the package was the VS 800, then the two ATARI controllers and additionally something very special! An XBOX controller in ATARI VCS design๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜Ž! Same design and colors as the original, only that here both joysticks are in red (original only the left one) and the Pad with direction keys instead of round. The controller even has a VCS logo in the middle๐Ÿ˜Ž! Some pictures attached... I have researched, but so far not found the source of the controller. Maybe it is custom made" but it looks very cool. Does anyone know if this controller was officially available somewhere? Cheers, andY
