  1. Yes, I know this😎! Thatswhy i made this ambiguous joke 😉
  2. Trust us, we are professional scientists 😎
  3. I´ve used for the M2 SSD the typical M3 (Metric 3 / Lenght 4mm) screws, you´ll find in every PC Case Kit for mounting the mainboard. But you can take equal screws with a smaller head. Cheers, andY
  4. I have soldered a micro switch from the beginning, so it works perfectly. You can later close the housing again and you don't run the risk of creating a short-circuit. Cheers, andY
  5. Great idea 😎👍🏻!!! I´d like it very much! Cheers, andY
  6. Okay, so you have to search for an: REALTEK RTL8822CE Win10 Driver (WLAN/BT combi module) Cheers, andY
  7. The best way is, to plug in a Ethernet cable (LAN cable) connected to your router. After than boot Win10 and go to "Find Windows updates" , and let the system install all Updates and drivers ... it will reboot for a few times and everytime you should repeat the search for updates. After everything is done, it shows you "You´re up to date - no Updates found." Now it should works fine... Cheers, andY
  8. No worry about that, Win10 will recognise all relevant drivers you need. All you have to do, is starting the install process, lean back and relax 😉.... Cheers, andY
  9. Great stuff 😎! Well done 👍🏻!
  10. In unserer heutigen, extrem kurzlebigen Zeit, ist ein Monat schon fast ein Katzenleben 😉!
  11. Many guys here (including me) have installed a couple of different 64Bit-OS´s successfully on the VCS in the past 😉
  12. You´re really, really late to the party 😉...
  13. The AMD Vega3 Graphics is using 13GB of shared memory 😉
  14. Yes I did it (using a 1TB M2.SSD). To install Win10 is straight and easy. Everything you have to do you´ll find here: -> Windows 10 install If you face some issues while the install process it would be very helpful, if you explain all steps you gone and what issue you get. Cheers, andY
  15. Interesting little detail (after fixing some minor issues): The AMD Vega3 Graphics is using 13GB of shared memory 😉
  16. It's just for fun and a little reminiscing..... But I´ve remembered to the good old days in 2016(till early 2018), where I´v build my own special optimized and very energy efficient Nicehash-Miner with 2x 1060 6GB for home use. It was profitable indeed 😎, even in Germany with one of the highest electricity prices 🙄. Now I´m back, to show you, the ATARI VCS is also able, to mine some Crypto Currencies 😉... See pictures attached.... Thats s only a quick n´ dirty setup, nothing is optimized at all... Cheers, andY
  17. Here are my first benchmark results, done with "3DMARK / Time Spy". First the embedded AMD Vega3 Bench and than (2nd Screenshot) the GTX 1060 6GB Bench. I guess, the results are absolutely okay, if I compare it with the 3DMARK Timespy Benchmark table... It´s done without any fine tuning of Windows and/or the BIOS. I guess, it´s possible, to increase the performance for a little bit by tweaking Windows/ BIOS. Cheers, andY
  18. To mount ext4 partitions and similars, I use this little great tool with Win10 😉: -> Diskinternals Linux-Reader It works fine for me all the time, I use it since a couple of years...
  19. Yes, I´ll do it soon and will post it here...
  20. Hi guys, like promised, here is my first successful PoC, connecting a NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB to the ATARI VCS 🙂. The monitor is directly connectet to the HDMI GTX Port and it works fine and for the very first test, better than accepted 😎.) I´ve tested it with a PALIT KalmX GTX 1050 TI 4GB and a Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB, which I just had at hand, but it should works of course with other/newer PCIe cards too. Each graphic cards are properly recognized at boot time and works well, as far as I can see.... (See some Screenshot attached) Cheers, andY
  21. As far as I know, on one of the EFI partitions... I´ve also access to all partitions now from Windows, but I´m not an linux expert, so I´m not sure, which folder or file I should be looking for it... Any suggestions?
  22. Yes, but it´s a Hare and Tortoise game 😉. I´m afraid, ATARI will change the password with the next update....
