1 hour ago, NIAD said:I understand that but you have to rule out any possibilities that the RGB board you installed is the culpit especially since the system was working before you installed it and for a short period after.
Remove the RGB mod, remove any expansion cards that might be installed, disconnect the Data Drive and Keyboard, connect to a TV via RF and then power on the system and see what you get. If it works, remove the RF cable and connect a Composite cable to the Monitor port and test again. If it works, reconnect the Keyboard and test. If it works, reconnect the Data Drive and test. If everything is working using these steps, then reconnect the RGB mod being mindful that you don’t create any shorts or damage any traces.
Be extra mindful of the plastic ribbon cable that joins the Adam board to the CV board and that it is snuggly connected.
if you have an ADAM Printer to power the system, I would also consider disconnecting the internal power supply if you are still having issues. It looks like Jim Walters performed this mod and I know he thoroughly tests the whole system out, but you never know especially since you opened her up to perform the RGB mod.
i know all too well how much this sucks, how time consuming this all will be as well as aggravating, but at this point, there is no good alternative.
Good Luck.
Sadly, I do not have an ADAM printer. By the way, what if it doesn't work after I remove the RGB mod?

@NIAD The Adam was working fine with the mod right before it has the black screen issue.

I tried, but it doesn’t show up at all.

Hi, I have an ADAM that is standalone, but I have a stupid black screen, so any ideas how can I get this thing working again?
-
-
I guess the ADAM board chips need to be reseated to fix the black screen.

I doubt there’s something wrong with the RGB cables. I also don’t think there’s nothing wrong with those regular video cables either.

Listen, I decided to give a VDP chip a socket, and then I install an RGB mod.

The ADAM was working fine in the other day, so I have socketed the VDP chip just in case for an easier replacement before giving an RGM mod.

Guys, I got a black screen with the humming audio issue on my ADAM, so how do I get it to work?
-
I think the 24 pin to 28 pin adapter could make the no delay bios chip work on the standalone ADAM.
-
-
I found a solution for the audio, I tried to use the gscartsw switcher, and I got the audio working.
-
I got some bad news, I got no audio while the ADAM has the buzzing audio while the RGB mod works on the ADAM.
-
-
I doubt the no delay bios could work on the Adam stand alone version because it doesn’t have the extra few holes for the chip, so it won’t be possible.
-
Also, is it possible to do the No Delay Bios mod for the Adam, or it could only work on the standard ColecoVision?
-
Despite Adam has a TMS9928A chip, it has a composite output without any modifications. I think.

I bet it could work, so it should have the same VDP as the regular Cole Vision.
Coleco ADAM + TMS-RGB + Virtual Disk Drive + Internal Power Supply Mod = Ultimate Coleco ADAM!!!

Hi, I have an honest question about the standalone ADAM computer. Is it possible to do the TMS-RGB mod on the Coleco ADAM? I am not sure the VDP is the same as the regular ColecoVision’s VDP or not.

Coleco ADAM TMS-RGB Mod Possible?

I doubt it.
