  1. Welp, I am certainly having the hard times to get this mod working. Despite having the 9918 chip replaced by 9928 chip. UPDATE: The sync is working, but there are no colors.
  2. Here is the pinout for the chip. https://console5.com/wiki/TMS9928A
  3. Before I solder the RGB board, does it look like this?
  4. The pin of TI’s video connector will work for the audio for the RGB mod.
  5. I know that, and it is the same thing as the ColecoVision version.
  6. Hey, I have a TI99 4A computer, a TMS9928ANL chip, a TMS-RGB mod board (the ones I got from Mobius), and an 8 pin mini din connector, so does anyone explain how to install the RGB mod and feed the audio?
  7. I have simply ordered 2 RGB boards from Mobius, and I can't wait to work on those.
  8. If I see the TMS-RGB mod boards are in stock on Mobius Strip site, I will be ordering two of those.
  9. I think you should count me for two boards, one for my ColecoVision and one for the TI-99 4/A and I have to use the 9928 to get it working.
  10. If I am going to plan on the TI 99 RGB, I could replace the 9918 chip that the TI was originally used with 9928 to RGB mod it.
  11. So, it is possible to use the 9928 chip on the TI, so unlike the Coleco, the TI’s chip is socketed rather than soldered on.
  12. Okay, or maybe I would wait until the assembled version comes out. I think it will also work on TI-99/4A because it uses the same chip as the ColecoVision's.
  13. Is there a way to order this cool looking RGB board yet?
  14. Are those F18A kits available yet? So, I wonder when they are available, and I could give my ColecoVision a VGA mod.
  15. That was a relief. I got that mod working.
  16. I fixed my ColecoVision graphics with the 5v Ram mod and replacing the power switch.
  17. Well, have you seen some other work that people did? https://circuit-board.de/forum/index.php/Thread/17431-Colecovision-Ti99-RGB-MOD-Projekt/ https://imgur.com/dGSlk4p https://imgur.com/a/2G7K2 I think the trimmer pot for the sync that has 103 code, so that should be 10k ohms.
  18. I think I have heard some people added the trimmer pot for the sync on the RGB board.
  19. Look at that picture, that RGB mod board has an extra pot, so I wonder where it goes?
  20. The NESRGB, the one's I did not mod has the SNES styled multi out connector.
  21. Here is my RGB board like this, so how do I bypass R1 with a jumper wire?
  22. I don't know the bypass R1 on the RGB board with a wire could help or not.
