I recently finished Age of Wonders 2: The Wizards Throne, and Call of Duty. I need to get new games, it gets tiring to fight "old ghosts" -so to speak.
It's not to say they're not bad games. If they were I wouldn't play them. They're both very fun to play.
Call of Duty is a FPS set in, you guessed it! World War 2. Anyway, it's basically a straight forward run through some of WW2s events. It includes campeigns for the Americans, British, and Russians. The story-line of the expansion is cliche, but you get the most out of it in online play. The weapons include the standert thompson, grande, and Mp40. However it also has some more, obscure, weapons such as the PPsH and Lee-Enfield. Good game. ****/*****
Age of Wonders2(AW2) is an TBS game set in a fantasy realm. The plot is weak, and cliche. However the best part of the game is the gameplay itself. Right from the first level you can build units you could at the end of the game. This has a drawback though, it's more than a little daunting to get into when your enemies come at you with everything they have(the first level can be very frustrating, as Yaka sends huge armies to crush you.) The biggest downfall of the game is that it's so easy to beat once you learn how to counter the one and only tactic your opponents use. ***/*****
