is it normal to have "stuff" on the side of my screen when playing? I have a Vader and a Jr. 2600 and they both do it with the same games. are the game chips bad or is it just programming errors? like when I play Space Invaders, there are a bunch of stripes on the left side of the screen that don't go away.

[A/V Composite mod]

I just tried the mod for composite video for the 2600 Jr that's posted on Atari Age and the picture sucks!! Has anyone else had success with this mod?? I saw another one, I think on benheck.com and it was different. I also noticed that the resistor in the Atari Age mod had a slightly different resistance than the one on my board, even though they were in the same position. I could see video after I did the mod, it just jumped and wasn't clear at all. Anyone have any suggestion?? I also have a Darth Vader I want to mod. Any suggestions for those???
