playing Titanfall 2, the devs deserve a medal for Singleplayer alone, but the multiplayer puts BO4 to shame

one wonders: what goes through a cows head when it sees the Mcdonalds menu?

Is there a version of Eliza for the Apple II in disk form?

Stand alone (v3.0) or part of the Golden Oldies Vol 1 from Software Country in '85. Both are attached.

How the hell do you sneak a frying pan into school? I was listening to 98.5's talk show and some dude snuck a frying pan into school and attacked his classmate.
bring this to mind

Metal detectors don't pick up every kind of metal, and many frying pans today are partially/completely made of non-metal.
This is also assuming the kid's school had metal detectors, that he didn't know of a door/window without them, that he didn't bring it in while they were turned off, & that he didn't acquire it inside the school (from the home ec. class, for example.)
If someone intends harm, it's honestly pretty easy to bypass most security.

Oh wow, Type 1 as an adult isn't all that common. Then again, they changed the terminology a while back to Type 1 and Type 2 from the original Juvenile and Adult-Onset because more adults were suddenly getting Type 1, so I suppose you're part of a growing trend. If there's any silver lining, since you're Type 1, you know that it was likely hereditary and nothing you could have controlled like diet, etc. My mom is diabetic (Type 1), has been since she was 17 and she has managed it well all these years (knock on wood). You should seriously consider getting yourself a Dexcom OR a pump. She got the former a year or so ago and LOVES it - doesn't trust a pump. Best of luck to you; you got this!

Surprised to hear the above. So long as you are monitoring your blood sugar and taking the appropriate amount of insulin at the appropriate times, you should be allowed to eat whatever you want. I'm sure there's more to your specific situation, but hopefully you are able to figure things out in time.

thoughts on the new sega genesis mini: Cheap plastic, non working "add ons" and just 40 games. We live in an age where over 1000 games can be stored on a flash drive, so why buy this system when i can use an everdrive cart? makes you wonder

I struggled with the "why buy this system" question for similar reasons. Don't need it. Don't like clutter. Have all the roms. Have nearly all the real carts. But after I kept going back to look at the thing, I simplified it all with "but I like it." That was good enough reason for me. I did a reverse Marie Kondo on this thing -- seemed like it would bring me joy, so I'm adding it to the horde.

Ok. Legend has it garlic could keep evil spirits away, so once a susupected vampire was killed folks would use garlic in vairoous fasions to keep them from coming back.

https://blog.nationalgeographic.org/2010/02/22/six-ways-to-stop-a-vampire/ National Geographic suggests the garlic aversion was inspired by rabies, since it makes victims sensitive to smell.
Garlic might not kill a vampire, but other plants may. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire

Dread: A feeling of impending doom often associated with death, sickness, dragons or trolls
Examples of dread in Skyrim:
fighting Alduin with nothing but a buffed dagger. Getting punted up into the sky via troll, or accidentally tasting the deathroot poison.
I know this because i have done it, because i am batshit insane
