  1. Here is something I ran across today taking apart an old wireless mouse card. https://media.digikey.com/pdf/Data Sheets/Cypress PDFs/CY7C63722,23,43.pdf this may work for PS/2 and USB keyboard/mouse support. granted it is obsolete now but ... I may fool around with it see what shakes loose.

  5. Following up on the internal fan. I would recommend doing a project like this. https://www.electroschematics.com/temperature-controlled-fan/ I might tweak some values to make it work with a 5volt 1amp fan. h
  6. I emailed Ralph and got a response today with the completed files. I will be working with avrdude tonight to get the FG99 finally programmed. Thanks to all who contributed! will keep you posted.

  8. I am Noob. That being established, the Zenoboard looks like a solution for (as was previously mentioned), saving space. Is there a working version? the notes state that there was a single trace line where a fault existed but should be easy to overcome. This looks like a very fun project to undertake.

  21. Somehow this simple solution eluded me. I was so focused on following the instructions, I failed to find an alternative solution that would have made things easier. Thanks @jedimatt42sorry you had to explain this. I have emailed the support email link requesting the end result files of the Python Build. - "PACKAGE.HEX" - "UPDATE.PLD" Thank you all for your patience with me on this.
  22. That would be nice. It is already soldered down though :/ the github guide leads me to believe that the programming is done after it is soldered to the board. Granted, the FAQ is good, and well laid out. I think I am gonna do a "The Modern TI-99/4a Mod Maker Dummies Guide". Laying out my mistakes and how they can be overcome.
