Also going back to my nba jam idea. Tommy is amico limited to 8 players , and are you planning some expansion for more? I'm thinking a bomberman game especially with wide screen displays today. Sega saturn bomberman supported 10 player local multiplayer . Dreamcast unfortunately was 4 player local but it had online 16 player. -

Tommy I know you.mentioned ea wants a certain amount of consoles sold until they will license any thing. But I was thinking great sports games that they own Mutant league football and hockey. And why stop with them let's do what genesis dont. Let's expand mutant league sports to wrestling and a destruction derby racing game and other sports. I'm not sure if ea owns the license or.ig it was just the one xbox 360 game. But nba jam Classic 2 vs 2 basket ball, but how about 3 on 3 or 4 on 4. Why not 5 on five either as an expansion to amico to allow 10 controllers or 5 players vs 4 players and 1 cpu. -

I think if you guys do go after the xfl license that you should go get use of the original version of the xfl teams as well as a bonus that way you could have an 8 team or 16 team season. And if you cant license players for those original version.of xfl teams then those bonus teams can be created players or whatever. It just would be a neat bonus. -

Tommy said they aren't just doinenone football. They also have 10 yard fight. Btw the xfl has a legit shot. Last year that other league that failed did great actually on tv ratings but they had no real financial backbone. Vince McMahon isn't concerned with money for 3 years hes got just him unlike the original xfl which was a 50 50 ownership. I think it will do well us they have great tv partnerships and nfl not in as geeatnof a ace with fans...dont get me wrong I dont think anyone beats nfl in near future but they will do strong. -

I'd love to see amico get the xfL license. The actual rules seem perfect for arcade local co op and verses play or local team vs CPU. -

They could do a fire pro game that's less complex as well as have many differences. Fire pro advance was good and was far simpler. But a hybrid sim arcade style game visuals lime fire pro maybe take a sim arcade hybrid from Sega's giant gram wrestling arcade games -

I think amount of buttons won't be an issue can def follow the dreamcast /saturn version control wise also dont forget the touch screen. Still lots of potential . It would def be it's own version of a fire pro game for sure though. The disc could be interesting for movement -

Tommy what about a game with a hardcore sim mode and arcade mode for gamers. Check out fire pro wrestling world (on. Steam and ps4) for inspiration heck get them to make a special fire pro for the amico its 2d Sprite based but more a sim that's timing based instead of button mashing. But could include an arcade mode a separate. It's the one game you might wanna relax on the difficuly level commandment. It has an ai difficuly of like 1 to 20 but also in certain game modes like league ms which are toubd Robin tournaments your difficulty progresses it adds to the game . Also you are scored on performance not just winning (where you win or loss matters less than how you work the. Watch much lime actual pro wrestling in ways) but wins still matter , it's more of an achievement reward system in ways. Even though its sim it's not difficult but has a steep learning curve to new players but easy to figure the basics after a few matches. But an arcade mode could be added to have more fast paced fun to the game for other players. Fire pro has mostly been a game importers went after going back to tg16 SNES era. Its biggest thing outside of being the best wrestling game series was the level of detail of its create a character and even arena and ring..... think Mario maker but for a fighting game. Fire pros creation suite is top of the class. -

But an nwa power licensed amico exclusive can answer all.of your questions or question all of your answers. Tommy the question is becoming a guilty pleasure for fans right now and could easily become a fan fav character on amico. Lol I wonder if tommy can sell the amico in mongrovia Lol -

In that games not an nwa game . Its retromania and they are using the nwa world title and ring and champ for a story mode but they are also using other companies like tommy dteamers promotion. House of hardcore. It's just for that game and not an exclusive.. the only exclusive rights they have to anything will be the technos license and the matmania characters. While that could also be a cool game that could be ported to amico with some exclusives added. Im.thinking a pure nwa power game. Wrestling games are popular but we haven't seen much to be excited for a while with wrestling games. Wwe 2k20 was a complete mess of a game unfinished after one dec left they just rushed an annual sports title missing many features from the previous year and graphics that would make the last gen look at it in shame. Not counting the bugs and glitches... plus I think amico having a great wrestling game but not tied to the wwe could be a strong standout. And yes nwa is a true alternative to the whole wrestling scene right now and could be a fun one for amico. -

They do these various little retro throw back liw budget commercial in between the action your team should watch I'm sure if you do a game based on the nwa power studio show it can be presented much like the tv format with little retro style commercials with intellivision Easter eggs to past and future. Would be a gun part of the game experience Plus having billy corgan promoting your product would be. Cool also all of the wrestlers via social media and live events... one thing wrestlers are great with is getting a product over and promoting themselves. -

This will be great for role playing games for sure.if it finds a strong niche it could do well. Amico is first priority though I'm just glad I can have gaming options where core focus is on having friends play together.i do like that the board will support online and if you and a buddy has a board you can continue the game where you left off when they get home. I hope amico allows such when eventually offer online player in 2021 . Continue using a local game online with friend is a smart idea. For example buddy moving away for a few months say university or whatever. You can still play them online , But when they get back home simply bring over controller or sign in on my console and get back to where we left off. -

Nolagamer replied to Tommy Tallarico's topic in Intellivision Amico
You can attach multiple boards from 2 to I think they mentioned as much as 18 or whatever depends on how expandable the game field is design for. Rob wyatt used d&d as an example a hardvore player could add up to 9 boards. They also said they aim to cut cost as they can can up volume and make in mass. They are planning.on using the xbox ps model where they sell hardware at a loss. I do like that they offer both purchase and subscription options it's all downloaded no streaming. And physical game pieces can work. I'm def gonna wait til this hits shelves but I'm aiming to get one. This and the amico could complement each other quite well for different social experiences. Would be interesting to see if they can partner with intellivision to say do some interactive mixed media board game where they can use the board and amico controller but the tv as well. No idea if tommy would entertain that further down the line as a possibility or not.... just saying it could be cool. -

The gameboard 1 looks cool. Much pricer than amico but its combining the traditional board game and RPGs board game crowed and simple arcade gaming . They are offering both a subscription model and the ability to purchase games individually. They are showing off 4 of the games at ces. Looks pretty cool. Can use physical or digital game pieces. As well as phone for things like card games. I'm totally interested in this and the amico as friends and I have talked about both for a weekly gamenight. -

Considering g the vcs has like 2.5 months til release and still in pre production and no games announced nor have crowedfunders got a system yet for early access. The amico is practically finalized doing mostly testing and probably a few tweaks. Dev's are making games and they are already working on getting more. And production I think is aimed for march or april. Nothing wrong doing a pre order on a special edition it's only a tiny part of the current audience that will get one. But come spring you can go to gamestop walmart and various other stores and do a traditional pre order. Nothing wrong with selling a special one early . It's not aimed for the average buyer. -

Hey tommy I think you should look into the nwa ( national wrestling alliance) billy corgan took them.over 2 years ago and has been re branding them and buding them back from just being a relic of the past as a name on the indy scene back to prominents. They recently launched a weekly program on youtube which has been buding steam for them. I dobt know if you are or ever was a wrestling fan... but it's a old school yet modern take on studio wrestling , which is how the territories around the country operated from 60s to 80s . The set is a retro modem take on the old Georgia world championship wrestling set of the 70s 80s on Tbs. Being a musician I'm sure working with corgan in anyway might be a cool team up. They have licences themselves to retromania wrestling which is a cool looking game , that's the official sequel to wwf wrestlefest(arcade) and matmania as they got the license from technos. They are using the nwa world title in a championship mode. As well as a bunch of other wrestling promotions.. but it's not an exclusive. I think an nwa game especially the nwa power show fits with amico especially game design wise on amico as you won't need a giant crowed and could gave a cool intimate small crowed that you can interact with in game....another great troupe of the studio wrestling format. Heres ep 1 out of 13. Plus it would be awesome to see two great brands that like intellivision and nwa making a great comeback together. And as a brand the nwa itself as the national wrestling alliance goes back to 1948 prior it was the national wrestling association from like 1905 so people from many ages will have a connection much like many amico experiences. And much like amico the nwa are honoring the past when building towards the future. -

I think Nintendo made the popeye arcade I dont know if they still have the license anymore though. But at one point they were exclusive didnt do much with it . I think someone else did the snes game though which was kinda a platformer and a board game released in japan.
