You need one of this: This goes to the tvs ext ant port. And also one of this: This connects to the plug on the end of the Atari cable. Them you just screw one adapter into the other and thats all.

My Super nintendo had a similar problem of wavy lines that got corrected by changing the 7805 voltage regulator. Ive also read that faulty capacitors can cause this kind of issues.

Play isos from your and different regions, use the gameboy player with a different interface, load homebrew (emulators, media players and miscellaneous apps). I think thats all what you can do with a modded Gamecube.

Thanks for your answer . I think thats a kind of pc that i could afford in the nearby future. In the meantime ill give batocera a try. I think i finally got it figured out.

Thanks again for your answer! I tried Batocera once but never made it to work, i could never found out where to put the roms or how to make the roms appear. Still im gonna take your advice and give it a second try.

Thanks a lot for your answer. Yeah i was fearing that a ram upgrade wasnt going to improve things a lot, but i had to give it a shot. Well since i cant upgrade the CPU i have to start saving for a new pc. Now the question is: what is the lowest specs pc that can run decently the most recent console emulators ?(up to saturn)

Greetings. I use retroarch (lakka 2.32) on an old laptop with a celeron dual core processor, integrated intel graphics and 2gb of RAM (yes i know its crap). Surprisingly i can play most games up to n64 and psx without trouble, also some dreamcast, saturn and even Gamecube games( with glitches and slowdowns though). My question is: if i upgrade the ram ( the board supports up to 8gb) would i see some improvement on the performance of the most intense emulators? Or the definitive factor is the CPU speed? I can afford a memory increase but not buying a new pc, and mainly want to play more dreamcast saturn and maybe Jaguar games. Thanks in advance for reading!

This confirms a lot of what has been speculated on this thread. So basically nobody who has received one of the 96 promotional units has bothered to open it and show the damned product to the internet? I wonder why pdubs didnt get one...

Could that be the real box? Looks so cheap. Also why these dudes never have the time to unbox and test the equipment? How much time does it take to unpack it ,plug it to a tv and navigate some menus and show the apps?

Greetings. I have recently acquired one of the teknogame Gamecube controllers for a very low price. Obviously as with other third party controllers my expectations were low, but luckily this controller has proved to be a quite decent acquisition. The plastic feels cheaper than the original ,but not that much and the controller is just a bit lighter (about 75%). The buttons and d pad are a little bit stiffer but with a decent feel, specially the analog triggers (yes they are analog and with a nice travel). The joysticks are equally a bit stiffer but overall not that different from the originals. The rubber coatings are thinner but not slippery and have decent grooves. The cord is a little shorter than the original (about 3 inches) and a little thinner but is firmly connected to the controller and the connector. Im not a Pro smash player and i am sure that this controller is not suited for competitive smash play, but in my experience the movements are solid and without drifting, the directions and button presses register considerably well and the analog triggers work as intended. Testing with Mario sunshine i was able to do all the movements and fludd techniques without problem. Also tested with Mario Kart double dash and f-zero gx, the controller works exactly as my og one. In Wii virtual console the dpad feels responsive and comfortable. In conclusion even though the third party Gamecube controllers have a very bad reputation, i believe that the teknogame ones are of enough quality to enjoy casual game experiences on the Gamecube and Wii or as spare controllers for multiplayer. Seeing the high prices that og and new (wiiu and switch) controllers command, the teknogame ones go for half the price (or less) and come in a variety of funky colors. Overall a good option (specially considering the analog triggers that the new controllers dont have).

You are kidding right? Also, i dont get the relation between the success or failure of the amico and the vcs.

Is the current day "atari" even infogrames anymore? I recall playing a couple of good games by that brand name a while ago, but now i believe those franchises are dead.

Sorry but the people on this thread are not just being hostile towards backers just for the sake of it, but, what do you expect when backers come here defending "atari" and telling us that the vcs is the best thing since sliced bread? Do you want people to applaud and agree? Excuse me but even you have to admit that this project have been managed in a very poor way and with very little respect to the backers.

Are you serious? As a crowfunded product that was the bare minimum and they havent shown any relevant information so far, specially when theres supposed to be 96 units of the finished console and controllers somewhere around.
