  1. Good job, please continue posting when news are available 😀
  2. Really nice, I was about to order it time ago but customs in Spain are expensive and sending from the USA also.
  3. Mine was a Commodore 64 but my parents get a Sinclair Spectrum 🫢 Now that I'm old a have a retro-collection with both, as well as more than 20 more retrocomputers 😃
  4. It's a good idea, but what's about the dust ?
  5. Yeah, but obviously most of them required upgrades and repairs..
  6. Usually I always discard the metallic shield from the retro-computers that I have (Commodore64, VIC-20, Texas Instruments TI-99/A, Atari 1040, Amiga 500 ,etc..) and I never have had any problem. Indeed, the electronic components inside "breath" better.
  7. There are some units missing in the pictures (Amiga 500, Atari STe 1040, Apple IIc, V-TEch Laser 200, Dell 486, etc..) The ones over the table are ready to work by pressing the ON button. The other ones are in the cupboard waiting to have for more space in the room... One day I'll upgrade the pictures with the whole collection, is one of the tasks in my "to do" list.
  8. Finally found at eBay Germany. It's the OMRON B3F-4055 model.
  9. Hi, my 1040STf STM1 mouse started to fail. When I press the left button sometimes is not detected. Instead of try to clean the contacts, I prefer to replace the button by a new one (old stock I guess..) Someone knows where can I find this button in the UE (European Union) ? Thank you!
  10. Many thanks for your quick response but finally I found my mistake: I was dragging and dropping the files from the Windows explorer. If I do the same but using the ADF Opus explorer the files are correctly copied into the ADF image.
  11. I'm trying to create an empty ADF file and copy a file inside to read these file in my Gotek but I'm not able. I installed ADF Opus in Windows XP Home and Windows 11 Home but when I try to drag a file inside the ADF from the Windows Explorer I always get the message "adfDevTYpe:unknown device type". If I run ADF Opus as Administrator I don't get the error message but the file is not copied into the ADF file, it remains empty. What can I do?
  12. I own this Apple IIc-VGA converter and it works like a charm. http://www.a2heaven.com/webshop/index.php?rt=product/product&path=73&product_id=135
  13. It seems to be an audio or video editing controller. Which kind of connectors are in the back?
  14. There are times in life when you have unexpected surprises and today has been one of those days. Two months ago a guy from New York who had seen this post contacted me and told me that he had two Casio FX-9000P original manuals that he could give me for free. Initially I thanked him and told him that I already had a copy of the originals and that the shipping and custom fees from USA to Catalonia would be very expensive for me. He answered me saying that he will pay the shipment which was around $20 (I had calculated more than $90). Obviously I told him that in this case I'll pay the shipment, but he refused and said that it will be a gift. Well, today I received the package with a kind note, and in addition to the two manuals he sent me a 16-K RAM cartridge and a 4-K RAM cartridge for the FX-9000P 😮 The only 4K cartridge that I have I nearly paid an arm and a leg for it, but it was the only way to turn on the FX-9000P because otherwise wouldn't start without it... Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!
  15. Good news,I hope they are ready soon 😀
  16. It seems to be a signal atenuator. The RF (or video) signal enters by an RCA and the potentiometer regulates the signal level at the output to the other RCA. There's not impedances adapter nor filter ¿?
  17. Good news!! Take my money, take my money!
  18. To connect the Epson HX-20 to a monitor or TV, you needed the official Epson adapter or the Oval HO-20, impossible to find today. I have found two programs to emulate the HX-20 screen and send the data on the PC screen. They also incorporate disk emulation, so there is no more loading programs via RS232C at 1.200 baud. The first one I've tried is Flashx20 but I haven't been able to make it work. The HX-20 communicates with the PC, but shows a serial port reading error, even setting the right parameters. The one that has worked the first time is the MH-20 Display Controller. It requires Java 8.0 as a minimum to work. I have installed the software and Java on a retrocomputer with WindowsXP. Both use the null-modem serial cable I used up to now to upload the programs via RS232C, but this time connected to the HX-20's "SERIAL" DIN instead of the "RS232C" one. Here is a picture of the HX-20 connected to the PC. If you have an Epson HX-20 try it, it's worth it.
  19. Finally I have not been able to repair the HX-20 shown in my last post 😞 After replacing batteries, DIN and power connectors, LCD flat cable, capacitors, resolder some points etc.. it does not start. Hopefully a friend of mine gave me another HX-20, and after only repairing the printer and connecting the microcassette module, the "new" one perfectly works now. To the left the "old" one and to the right the "new" one. Actually I'm loading the programs throught the RS232C port connected to an PC computer, but I'm trying to use the Flashx20 emulator that allows to duplicate the HX-20 screen on the PC screen and also emulates 4 disk units. I doesn't work at the moment and I wonder if someone uses this software to share experiences...
  20. Excelent news, we look forward to the final design and the order list...
  21. First time I have heard something like this. At the job we have vibration tables to test the manufactured equipments, but in case of the keyboard maybe Contact Cleaner will help.
  22. This is mine. Recently purchased and it has a lot of work ahead before it can get back run normally.
  23. In addition to those already mentioned, Knight Lore, Skool Daze, Abu Simbel Profanation, Chase HQ, Sabre Wulf, Batman, Sir Fred, Army Moves...
