VIDEO GAMES FOR SALE - Bunch of different systems...

PM sent your way... -Steve -
BUMP!!

I usually use Game Gavel myself (and when it was Chase the Chuck Wagon). Only because most people will let you pay with a money order, whereas Ebay prefers Paypal, which I do not use. It's a viable alternative to Ebay, although for content it is way smaller. However, it's much more "user friendly" in my opinion. I've been buying stuff off and on from Game Gavel and have NEVER had a problem there with any purchases. I'm not sure of the selling aspect, however. There are plenty of AA people on that do sell stuff there. -Steve

Looking for a "cartridge, instructions, box" version of Missile Command (Atari picture label please, not Sears). If you have a copy for sale, send me a PM and let me know how much you want for it. Thank ye kindly. -Steve

$400.00 buy? Did I fall asleep and wake up on another planet?

Chris is sending me a Phoenix manual for free! Excellent to deal with, highly recommended!

$50.00 a piece???

What the??? That's interesting. I've never run across a version of Space Invaders like this. It looks amazingly like the original Space Invaders for the 2600! Where does it list these features? Must be the fine print...

Nukey is a great information source for variations and whatnot on Atari 2600 games. Don't worry, he's lovable at heart.

bump! Edit: Got one coming! Please close this topic!

Yeah, or he decided to keep it for himself, but more likely someone got it. If it would have been closer to me, I would have snatched it up. Traveling two hours just wasn't going to happen. I'll keep my eyes open on Craig's List for future deals.

Hi, all. Since I have a boxed silver copy of Phoenix for the Atari 2600 and no manual inside (wonder where it went??), I would like to ask folks around here if they have a spare they'd care to sell. The manual doesn't have to be pristine, but in reasonably good shape would suffice. PM me if you got one, and I'll do concealed cash/money order for it. -Steve

Update on this... I passed on the deal. I really didn't want to travel all the way down there, so I let this go. I weighed my options and decided to try to locate one closer to home. It's not a priority to get a 5200, as I'm collecting for my 2600 and don't want to overwhelm myself.

Hmm, my collection is rather small at the moment, so I guess I qualify as one of the persons "just starting". That doesn't make me real happy. Eh, I like the collection aspect of it AND the play value I get from my Atari 2600.

I don't care...I'm still not parting with my Atari 2600!!

Observations from a Gaming Session

Nice haul! I still wish I had a source around here for Atari 2600 stuff, but alas, there's not one spot around here that sells it. Most of the "Mom and Pop" stores are gone with the wind, leaving only chain stores that scoff at you for even mentioning Atari 2600 material. -
That makes me feel even older this morning. Suppose I'd better pull up the depends and get ready for another Monday..

That's cool. I want that Activision button!

I've been wondering this myself. The prices seem way high and out of control for the moment. I'm sure after the initial craze fades and people go back to their PS3's and Xbox 360's the Atari 2600 stuff will go back to it's normal price range. I'm assuming the recent price hikes are because the common person is "interested" in Atari again. -Steve

Hmm, so what's the first thing?
-
I'd buy that for a dollar... Oh, he wants $200?

Observations from a Gaming Session
classicgamingguy replied to classicgamingguy's topic in Atari 2600
Berzerk is one of my favorites. I have it boxed AND loose. Pure gaming bliss. I had a major Atari 2600 session tonight, and broke out the paddles that came with my system. Not one jitter anywhere as I enjoyed Breakout, Warlords, Circus Atari, and Kaboom! Oh yeah..Night Driver, too. That was fun, and I haven't played THAT game in a long, long time.
