  1. That’s good to know. I’ll try that. Give me a minute, I’ll see what it can tell me.
  2. Yes, your 32K Ram saved me from buying a duplicate Postman Pot Cassette. Wouldn’t load onto my seemingly functional 16K cart (print fre(0) showed full amount of ram) but loaded onto your 32K cart. Don’t know what that was about. Saved me a lot of time and money there.
  3. That’s defective RAM then. Wonder why so many have been failing lately. Also, you’ve got the second version of Aquarius Basic. You can tell by the “S2” at the top of the screen. Has bug fixes and possibly an extra command or two if I remember correctly.
  4. Yeah, the keyboard isn’t exactly my favorite part of the computer, but it’s a nice system to mess with. Did you test the 16K ram rather than just the on-board ram as well?
  5. I really ought to step up my Aquarius High-Score game. I will say though I’ve spent plenty of time playing Stalactites both on cassette and Aquaricart.
  6. Nice, can’t seem to get videos to play on mobile though, am I missing something or are they just processing?
  7. That is really interesting. Not even just the software itself, but the fact that it was supposedly released in 1986. That’s got to be the latest software released for the system if true.
  8. Alright, great. May take 2-4 weeks for me. Got a lot of things I’m buying right now, but I’ll try to pay you soon.
  9. For some it’s nostalgia, for some it’s the collectiblity, for some it’s the close relation to the Intellivision. Personally for me, I didn’t own an Aquarius when they were new. I collect it because it hits many of my personal favorite “collecting points”. Its obscure, it has quite a hunt involved with it, the games and hardware are interesting, and it was released in my focused game-collecting era. 1975 - 1984.
  10. Not sure about largest. I’ve seen some pretty good stuff. Someone made a Tetris clone, someone on the Aquarius Computer subreddit made a drawing program, there was also a scan of the Aquarius Program Book from 1983 on the Internet Archive if you want to try those.
  11. They both look very nice. I think I’d like a Brass and Brown set to go with my model 1 Intellivision.
  12. I don’t have enough money to go around for all the Aquarius and Intellivision stuff I’ve been buying lately. If a set is still available in a few weeks time I’ll probably bite.
  13. Might be interested in Desert Bus if you’re willing to hold it for a little and price is negotiable.
  14. Agreed on controller comfortability. It’s also worth mentioning the Aquarius has very little RAM available by default. 1.7 KB because the other 2.3 KB is taken up by Basic, and the character set. Speaking of RAM, make sure to test out your 16K Ram. You can test to see if it has all RAM available by typing ‘Print fre(0)’ into BASIC. Personally, I’ve noticed that quite a few 16K carts have been failing lately. If you look through this forum, there’s quite a few topics discussing it. I actually had mine fail today. It has all RAM available, but it doesn’t work for some reason. I tested a 16K cassette, and it couldn’t load onto the cartridge. Note that the cassette functioned fine when paired with Jay’s unofficial 32K cart. So, make sure yours is working fine.
  15. Yeah. @BSRSteve actually did the port of Utopia I think.
  16. So, it runs a cut-down version of Microsoft Basic. Later Aquarius systems had a second version of Basic built in that fixed a few things. A very-rare extended basic cartridge was also released with quite a few more commands available. Extended Basic was also available with the Aquarius II, which is very, very rare.
  17. As for the rest, I don’t believe the controllers are compatible with intellivision (don’t quote me on that). The intellivision actually has better graphics than the Aquarius, and if you’re asking if intellivision carts work with the Aquarius, unfortunately they do not.
  18. Actually, Jaybird3rd created the Aquaricart, a fully featured multicart.
  19. Yeah, if you decide to get rid of them, give them to jaybird3rd first. He’s working on a really good site for Aquarius Info. Jay, if you do end up getting them though and you’re not keeping it for yourself after scanning, perhaps you could sell me the outer box and printer? Missing that bundle.
  20. Alright, thanks for the info. I also inputted an Intellivoice with SN #500495
  21. So, box has no serial number label, but in a bit of luck it seems the previous owner wrote it in pen on the back of the manual. Its AT1081851 If I understand correctly, that would mean it was manufactured in Taiwan and is somewhat rare?
  22. My Intellivision (1) is missing the sticker that would show serial number. Is there another way to tell serial number? I've also got an Intellivision II which I'll add later, but I'm more curious about the first unit.
