  1. Love all of the firmware updates and additional features. There are two things left I really want to see and seem like they would be easy on the surface. - When you press the Menu button, an option to disable border art. I know you can simply not include the images but it would be nice to toggle since some games look nicer with bezel art. The big one for me though - Allow manual input of WiFi connections. Some of us hide our SSIDs and the ALU is the only device I own where I cannot manually enter my WiFi settings. At the bottom of the list, could an option be added to manually input the SSID and then the password?
  2. Would love to see sample support and CHD support added to the AddOn Tool. I think my biggest issue right now is still the button mappings not saving for AddOn games. Are there any plans on fixing this? I understand that it used to work early on but has been broken for a long time. Seemingly it's games that support more than 3 buttons that are the issue. If you launch say Street Fighter 2, the controls are not mapped properly. If you manually set the controls and then exit the game, they are lost. Is there a way that these can be saved directly to the USB drive or internal storage? Also, the WiFi option does not currently have a way to manually input your SSID. I'd like to see a manual option for those that do not broadcast their SSID. Other than that, I'm pretty happy
  3. Thankfully the back of the front panel is black so I simply reversed it. Now I have a perfectly black front. It might look a little plain but I think it looks great and closer to an actual arcade unit minus the coin slot. A simple hack to make the cabinet look better. Speaking of side art, I'd love a fake coin slot sticker to put on the front.
  4. Extremely happy with my cabinet so far. It's such a weird feeling walking into my room and having a full-sized arcade finally. Honestly, I bought the cabinet mostly for MAME and love that AtGames is open minded about the unit being used for open development. That said, I've noticed a few bugs with the AddOn Tool and wondering if anyone has any workarounds or know if these will be fixed. I'm unclear if this is a fan making this add-on or someone connected with AtGames - I've noticed some games are cut off at the bottom no matter which display mode is set. - Pixel perfect looks a little off to me. Is this truly pixel perfect or is it a bit stretched due to the LCD vs. CRT not having perfect square pixels? - Samples for games like Donkey Kong. Could the tool be updated to add sample files or will newer versions of the MAME core be possible? - Button mappings and menu settings are not being saved. After setting your buttons and display preferences, after closing the game, the mappings are lost. It's my understanding that there inside the UCE file for mappings. Is this something that can be written to and fixed to save button mappings at the very least? Thanks!
