Seeing stuff packed liked that makes me mad, and it's not even my auction! Hopefully he responds well and works it out with you Road_runner. He's got to be at least a lurker on here and realize that he'll be losing business if he doesn't. Who'd want to bid on any of his auctions after seeing that negligent packing job?

Just a quick note. Got my carts today, and cvga is an excellent seller! Good luck with your move cvga.

Do you have Atlantis II NTSC for the 2600?

Best...score...ever!!! -
Holy shit Ghost, you're on a roll! That is a sweet collection. I'm guessing all the extra boxes are variations you collected then? I'm still trying to complete Activision loose. My problem is I like minty labels so I might buy the same cart 5 or 6 times until I'm happy. Some seem to be harder to find in good shape then others. Cosmic Commuter comes to mind. I've been looking for a mint Crackpots forever too. Those boxes look in great shape!

Just wait until Jetset sees this...

You got Kaboom! I love that game. I didn't see any paddles though. That's an interesting case you got there also. Looks homemade. Famous last words. I started out wanting a Atari 2600 with the top 20 carts that I could enjoy. Now I'm at almost 200 unique titles, 3 systems, and many, many doubles. Even at that my collection doesn't come close to many around here. It's almost all loose carts. That's easy! Complete in box is the real deal.

Hey ya, welcome to AA. There's no such thing as a stupid question. The cart you have has no cover on the end, and if you look inside you can see two slots where the back of the label is showing through, right? This is different then most Atari carts, but that's how the late released silver carts came. I have an '88 Kangaroo in this style. This list is good for referencing too: http://gpdgames.tripod.com/id12.html Stick around and post for a while!

Thanks for posting the rom, Batari. I'm not going to make it to that level this week, but other players here certainly will. Much appreciated.

Can anyone dump the corrected version (not Nukey's fix)?

I really got to play my copy of this game. I bought it for the GC so long ago, but have barely gotten a half hour into it. Might be a project for tonight. It's seems like there's not to to much lost in porting to the PS2, but not enough gain to make me want to pick one up unless I got it cheap.

Those Tron carts are Hilarious! That Pole Position guy is just having to much fun. It's a sweet collection you have there. There's a lot of interesting stuff in Brazil.
-
I haven't got my carts yet either. I'm used to long waits for shipping from living in Canada though. Hopefully this week.

I second Spike's Peak. Thrust just takes getting used to. I played it very briefly on the emulator, but found it to be to tough and kind of forgot about it. It wasn't until we played it in high score club that I really gave it a chance. I found I got better with just a bit of practice. It's one of my favorite games now, and I picked up a copy from the store.

I couldn't resist voting, But I'll never tell what I voted for! By fixed prices I'm guessing you mean buy it now? I had no idea Ebay told you how many people are watching each item. I'll watch several buy it now items if the seller is auctioning a cart I really want as well. It all depends though on whether or not I win the auction if I'll scoop up the BIN's. I'm just using them to supplement my shipping costs. When I got my first Atari system months ago I also BIN on a Combat, E.T., etc for a buck each as they didn't come with the 2600 I had just won. One of the reasons I bidded on his lot was for his BIN's. It had most of the games I remembered playing, and with two or three BIN's he had for Combat I felt certain I could get everything in one deal. Newbie mentality I guess.

No doubt CPUWIZ is probably one of the few to have a complete Parker Bros collection if you include this cart. It is extremely rare.

I won this Frogger off ePay a while back. It's 100% NTSC (Colors are perfect, does not roll). I have a second TV that rolls with PAL games. You can read more about this Frogger here or here. It's not for sale. I wanted to post information for other collectors. Al you're free to use any of these scans in the database, and please contact me if you need better scans. Philflound pics and info are listed below. PM if you need more. The cart: It's exactly like a Track and Field cart with a sliding door (2 springs). The manual is unlike any I've searched for. I looked everywhere as this is the only Frogger Manual I own, but couldn't find any with this blue ink. It's 6" 7/8 by 5" 3/4.

Thinking of selling copy of Waterworld
Omegamatrix replied to Brad2600's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
As far as I can tell he's a reseller. If he's ever posted or collects himself I don't know. -
Looking at the front labels the one in the database fills the entire cart while the eBay one is cut shorter. Hard to tell if it's legit or not by that though. You'll have to wait until you get the cart to get a better idea. Hope it's gold.

How long until this gets pulled?
Omegamatrix replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Auction Central
What the Hell! I reported them for Keyword Spamming. I couldn't live with myself if a newbie put in a huge bid and got ripped off. I did something like that when I first joined eBay. -

I was just looking at that too! Shows a picture of Frogger II, and tells nothing about it in the item description. They say that it's a "Test Auction" and that you will receive nothing. With a one day listing and payment as other it looks like they're trying to hook someone bidding last minute and not reading the description. I wouldn't be surprised to see some shilling to test the "Test Auction". -
Canada is NTSC. Sometimes carts turn up here that were thought to be PAL only. Puzzy carts and Bomb Carts come to mind.
-
Not necessarily; I have an NTSC Asteroids from Canada in the 5-language box/manual package. 962995 This is indeed true. The 5-Languages box/manuals are common up here.

Wow, for twenty bucks that was a nice lot! Nice score.

FA: Atari 2600 7800 BMX Airmaster CIB SEALED !
Omegamatrix replied to mabb96's topic in Auction Central
I thought CPUWIZ was making repos by burning eproms. I really had no idea how far he took it. -
Wire fraud, son. Old game. Popular with the Nigerians. 419eater is filled with baiters that love playing with these idiots. They've (the Nigerians/wire defrauders) been hitting eBay lately -- I guess E-Mail spam isn't working out for them like it used to. 963103 I gotcha. There was a old letter they used to circulate about a soccer team needing some help to secure a million dollars that the government sealed up or something like that. All you had to do was donate some money and they'd give you a cut when they got their shares back plus the money you invested before. Actually it might have been a South Africian team, but same deal. Fraud.
