I have probably spent $1200.00+, if not more, around here. I blindly give money/trade-ins to Al, he blindly gives me stuff, always works out. 956270 Do you use the secret handshake?
-
Al is a fast shipper, and his cost for shipping to Canada was excellent. Everything was packaged well and arrived in perfect shape. The products are all high quality. So far I bought Marble Craze, Gunfight, Thrust+, Crazy Balloon, and 2 Stelladaptors. Now I just need all the rest of the other games.

I ran into yyzzyy on Monday. I got into a bidding war with him on several auctions, and thought that I might be getting shilled. When I looked at his feedback and saw how much he was buying in a short time though I was amazed. I realized he's probably just a rich newbie trying to build a collection fast. By the amount of feedback he has gotten I'd think he's good for his money, but I just hope he owns everything he needs by now so that I don't run into him again.

Man those are some crazy carts. Is it a common problem with these handles breaking though sku_u? I can't tell how solid they are from the pictures.

PM sent!

Lots of buyers biding with low feedback too. Shill biding?
-
I have as many Missile Command carts as I do Combats. They're pretty common too.
-
I liked your auctions... until I saw the $25+ to ship to Canada for a single cart. UPS shipping will bring you no bidders from Canada unless it's an extremely valuable cart. Actual cost with USPS airmail for a single cart is approximately $1.10. I wanted a few of your carts too.

More than I thought it would too, but I'm still new to collecting. I've never seen one CIB on eBay before now. At least I have one loose.

What new ColecoVision products do you want?
Omegamatrix replied to ColecoNation's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Joey's got some great ideas. I like being able to download games into it too. Otherwise I'd like to see new boards produced for the original Coleco joysticks with gold contacts, or new joysticks altogether like Atari's Flashback II. The most important thing is to work out contracts with the Coleco homebrewers so that their games are included. -
It's a PAL release. When you seach through the rarity guide select Europe or All under the region, and then type the name. It's listed here.

Beyond my means right now too. Damn if it doesn't look nice tough, but It's already gone past what I can afford at the moment. A while back someone posted a picture of 3 Subterranea's CIB from their collection. I think it was Video Game Addict IIRC. I've noticed that Subterranea's seem to be going for cheaper on eBay lately though. I'd love to have one complete. One day...

Did 3DO's have serial numbers on the bottom? It probably came off the line so fast that they didn't have time to put the serial number on it either (which is probably why it's not pictured in the auction).

I second the vote for Wizard of Wor. Lots of flicker there, but still a fun game.

Ditto... !!!!!! 950001 Well, if you got the bankroll, you got game!

I'm the same as NE146 to say Smurf was the first game to blow me away. It just seemed to be so much more advanced then the Atari. Other notables from later yeats include seeing Star Wars: Rebel Assault II on a PC after a few years of not playing games. The last thing I saw before that was Super Mario World and I remember thinking "How the hell did this happen?". Otherwise it would be the first time I saw Super Mario Bros on the NES, or Resident Evil / Tomb Raider on the PSX.

Just posted my Puzzy Seamonster (BOXED/Man) EBAY
Omegamatrix replied to johnnyroastjoust's topic in Auction Central
Cool, I hope they return too, but Hasek and Heatley will be enough to take Ottawa to at least the second round. I got to be honest, my real interest was in to see how far West the Puzzy carts came. I hope you have a good auction and make lots of money, but even more so I hope AtariAger wins it. I've bidded as high as I can afford right now, and it'd be nice to see someone from AA snap it up. Cheers. -

Winnipeg, eh? Well I'm sorry we ever lost the Jets. See how Phoenix does tonight against the Flames. Where were you when you first got the cart then? -

Nope. Nobody here interested. Nothing to see really... What city was this cart picked up in? If you don't mind me asking. -
What was the moment or milestone...
Omegamatrix replied to jetset's topic in Classic Console Discussion
About a year ago I bought a computer and discovered emulation. Soon I wanted to collect a few games for the NES and SNES that I enjoyed playing, and that I never owned but wanted as a kid. Then I found AA. In the beginning I was going to have a single 2600 and about 30 quality titles, because my cousin had one and I was always jealous (I figured the top 30 games would be all I need). Now I'm at 133 unique titles and three systems for the 2600. I bought a Coleco and about 30 games as well. Tubs to hold my carts and joysticks have appeared in my living room. I have more carts to clean then I have time. Just what the Hell is happening to me!?! -
I for one would be interested to hear how it turns out. My gaming experience right now is limited to a 27" TV. In the future I will of course upgrade, but until I read your post I had it stuck in my head that only the newer games with more powerful graphics would look good on a bigger surface. I guess I thought that the older games would look worse by their blockiness being exaggerated on the big surface where as the newer games would showcase their detail. In retrospect I realize it would be easier to react quicker if your character was bigger on the screen, and getting higher scores is always more fun. I’m glad to hear how enjoyable your experience was, and for myself I can't wait until I can afford a 52" screen.

You'd get more if you shipped to other countries.

Well done! It was fun doing all that voting, and I would say the list came out pretty good. Most of those games will be in everyone's top lists, but of course the rankings would be different for everyone. My top five out of that list: 1. Jr. Pac-Man 2. Circus Atari 3. Indy 500 4. Yars' Revenge 5. Asteroids

That's awesome man! I like people like you. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff. I think that it was you who had that Activision 2600 system a while ago IIRC. That was a very cool find indeed.
-
Cool find! I almost went blind looking at them though. You find a lot of interesting stuff down there in Brazil, TomBrazil. We almost have no pirate stuff up in here in Canada ourselves.
