  1. Asteroids or Yars' Revenge. I decided to support what I thought would be the underdog and go for Yars' cause it's so damn different & cool, but it seems to be doing well in the lead! (so far)
  2. Circus Atari. Is there really anything other?
  3. That is interesting, and would make for a fine piece in a collection. I wonder how high it's going to go? Video Game Addict wants it.
  4. What the heck! I'll stick my neck out and vote for Indy 500. My money would be on Adventure or Warlords though.
  5. 1. 2600 2. Colecovision 3. Nes 4. Playstation 5. Snes And all of the rest
  6. Holy shit somebody bought it too!! What can a person do with 12 E.T.'s? I don't suppose you had a '86 in there?
  7. Some Doubles Same Seller The heavy sixer looks like it's got thin molding to me.
  8. I voted no. Grading games would drive the prices way up, and bring more middleman resellers into the hobby. It's hard enough for me to win something rare as it is. If you think eBay is war now... well it wouldn't be pretty with grading. Grading is much more of a personal opinion anyway. Some people care more about a cart's shell having no wear than a completely centered label etc. Does the cart have a slight musky or smokey smell to it? Everyone has a different sense of smell. Lots of factors can go into grading, but the ones that matter most are up to the individual.
  9. I now know less about Atari 8-bit software after reading his auction then I did before, and I knew nothing about it before. His shipping is high.
  10. I had problems earlier today with Paypal. I paid and got my confirmation, but it took over an hour and a half to show I paid for my item on eBay. Usually it takes 2 minutes at the most.
  11. Do Sears text labels come with picture instuctions?
  12. Depends upon whether or not you think having a large yellow head and no limbs is healthy. Maybe some chicks dig it.
  13. Hold the picture real close to your camera and take another picture. Write on your auction you get everything you see on your screen. I feel really evil right about now.
  14. Some interesting stuff in there. I always wondered what was in those pellets that Pac-Man gobbled up. Now I know. Multivitamins 'with iron'.
  15. I'm sorry, I sat here for five minutes laughing at this post with tears running down my eyes. That made my day. I'm glad he asked first before he bidded though.
  16. In no particular order: Goldeneye Tetrisphere Rogue Squadron Shadows of the Empire Wave Race It took me six years on and off to finish Zelda Ocarina of Time. That game is huge. If you're going to play it then I recommend picking it up for the Gamecube instead. It came out on the Gamecube as a preorder disc for Wind Waker, and had two versions of the game included. One was the original game, and the other was the Master Quest. If you ever played Zelda as a kid then you can appreciate having a second quest. You might grow a beard finishing this one though.
  17. Uuugghh! I hope that guy isn't a mechanic. Reminds me of a buddy of mine who knew everything about cars. After he was done fixing your vehicle everyhing was held together with scotch tape and gum. It looks like he peeled the label off with a blow dryer and switched the chips. When it started peeling up again he decided to tape it.
  18. I second that Phil. I wish your wife a speedy recovery and good fortune for the both of you. Life will get better soon!
  19. According to mapquest the seller lives 7 miles from my house, so I think a bike ride is within that range. It arrived today by UPS after going to Richmond first and then being rerouted back to my house. Nonetheless, it was packaged very nice and everything works great. Fun game too! Why are there two run buttons? Are you supposed to tap both in unison for a faster speed? 938958[/snapback] If you played it with the normal atari 2600 joysick you would have to move the joystick left to right or up and down to generate speed. The Track and Field controller mimics this as well. Just makes it more fun I guess (Or you can say it's made for Lefties as well)
  20. Too much if you ask me. You'll get a much better deal even on eBay.
  21. It is a fun game! One of the best for the 2600 IMHO. Too bad it's not so common. A lot of people might never get a chance to play it without computer emulation or a Krokodile Cartridge, Cuttle Cart etc. I like it much better then the Activision Decathlon.
  22. I've always liked the 2600 version of Dig Dug much better than the NES version. I find it hard to explain as the NES has superior graphics, but somehow the 2600 version just seems more fun.
  23. LMAO that was a funny post! When I first played the very last level in Shadows of the Empire it mad me quite dizzy. It took a while to get used to the 3D motion in outer space. My boss at the time told me she threw up playing it.
