PM sent!

I always liked Rogue Squadron, Shadows of the Empire, and of course Goldeneye for the N64. One more title I like most people don't talk about is Tetrisphere. Addicting game if you like puzzle games.

I don't know how much it's worth, but for $4.50 who cares? I think you got an awesome deal. I always wanted one of those. Nice find!

He lifts pictures from all over the place for auctions including AA, and then doctors them with a photo editor. If you ask him "Q: Is the cart shown in the auction the actual cart being sold or is it a stock photo?" he replies "A: It is the actual cart. Nice condition for its age 20 years old", and even prints the Q&A in his auction. He will then to proceed to send you a cart in shitty condition, and will not leave feedback until you do. Emailing him is useless, and Paypal can do little to help. He is dishonest and should be avoided.

Perfect Dark cart was near death...

I worked in a video store for three years. Most labels will come off easily with a heat gun (much better than a blow dryer). The silver stickers that say void when peeled off are a different story though. If they are stuck on the plastic they can be removed with a lot of elbow grease. I'd just peel the label off and then rub the excess silver/glue crap off with my finger. Takes a lot of work, but eventually it will come out clean. If the sticker is put over a label you got some real problems. Normal heat alone won't take off the crud underneath, and rubbing will always mark the label with glue stains. -
I own both Gunfight and Marble Craze that I bought new off AA. Both I highly recommend.

I never knew you could filter out selected sellers. that's a good little tidbit.

So I got an Intellivision today
Omegamatrix replied to Omegamatrix's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I had a little more time to play today. I tried the Voice Module unit and the games I have for it. Bomb Squad has some catchy music and the voices do add something to the game. I really like this title, but haven't gone deep into any of my games yet. Basically I'm making three piles: Games I like, Games that don't appeal to me, and Games that I'm going to have to play more to decide. I'm really horrible for reading instructions, and there's a lot of buttons on the controllers. On a side note I'm not sure whether Intellivison or Atari was the first system I ever played. Years later when I played The Legend of Zelda for the first time I thought to myself "I've played this game before on another system" but couldn't remember what it was. The spiders in Zelda were giving me deja vu. I'm now sure that I was confusing Zelda with one of the Dungeons & Dragons games on Intellivision. Are they all the D&D games on Intellivision pretty much the same graphic wise? -
Looks nice! The best place to post these are in the marketplace forums in the auctions catergory.

Well I'm tapped out. I can't see myself paying anymore than $150 for the cart loose if there could be more out there. I am curious though Sly, do you remember where you came by this cart?

OMG :-o That's high!! Can someone here say how much is this cart worth? I have no idea. Maybe MegaManFan can help.

So I got an Intellivision today
Omegamatrix replied to Omegamatrix's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Thanks everyone for who replied so far. I've been playing the Intellivison a little today and I find most of the titles to be rather unique. So far Tron Deadly Discs is my favorite. Cool Game! -
Yep, HSC has been good two weeks in a row now for having games I actually own too. I wish I had a camera, but in the meantime it's just fun to play on real hardware.
-
I've seen Circus, Frontline, and Space Adventure in the wild. Wish I'd gotten them then. I've never seen any other Zellers carts.

I won an Intellivison off Ebay yesterday and picked it up today. I believe that the people who sold it to me where some of the nicest people I've ever met. They were in Calgary and when they saw that I was too they emailed me saying I shouldn't have to pay for shipping and asked me to phone them so that I could arrange to pick it up. How cool is that? I bought this Intellivision with the intention of passing it on to a friend for a birthday gift (I don't know when that is, but I imagine it's got to be sometime in the future ). Anyway I thought it was going cheap so I bought it, because he's into Intellivision. I'm really into Atari and Coleco, and had no plans to collect for anything else. Having a different system in my hands though I thought I'd give it a try. I'm liking it so far, and I'm wondering if maybe I should be greedy and just keep it for myself. Probably bad Karma. Anyway will someone please make me a list of the best games to play for it? I might try and pick up a few more titles. I'm only worried I'm going to like it to much and not want to give it away! The games I have now are: Pitfall! Venture Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack Astrosmash Space Hawk Royal Dealer Armor Battle Major League Baseball Star Strike Frog Bog Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Space Spartans B-17 Bomber Bomb Squad Lock 'n' Chase Horse Racing Auto Racing Tron Deadly Discs Sea Battle Donkey Kong Mission X I got the voice module too, but haven't tried it yet.

It took half our countries war budget to get the gun too...

That's the Sea Hawk cart. You can view it on Atariguide.

The Best Way to Get Through 2600 Collection
Omegamatrix replied to silverpoodleman's topic in Atari 2600
I got my games in the good old rubbermaid bin with the end labels up. The games are divided by company and type and stored in a ziplock bag by threes. While I'll go to play one title I'll sometimes end up playing all three, because the storage bag is already open. Good way to try games I guess. Collecting wise I'm still buying small lots as well as individual titles depending on what I need. I'll go for a big lot if there's several titles I need, but tend to shy away if there's a lot of filler crap. Probably the best thing to do is get an emulator and try some different games to know which ones you want to buy. -
That's actually not a bad imitation though.

Damn! Missed that one. Probably pre-Starbucks too...
