Ray Kasser, CEO of Atari, didn't want to give Nintendo $2.00 royalty for each cart sold, so Coleco got the rights! Anyway, makes me wonder how the game would have turned out if Atari made it! -
You mentioned that there could have been bad ram or something causing the bug. Could be. Back in 1979, on my 2600, Star Ship, I could NOT land on the moon playing the variation Lunar Lander. I brought my cart to the store and the guy put it into the display 2600 and it worked fine! Also, on Blackjack, I could always double-down and NOT bust! Sent the console to Atari and they sent me a new one!

Another thing Activision started doing was NOT giving credit to the designers! River Raid II is an example. Nowhere on the box or cart is there any mention of the designer. How ironic!

A friend of mine had his Bose 3 cd changer not reading a disc and he called Bose. The gal told him to flip it over and bang it hard on the bottom 3 times and then try it. I asked him if he had the right number thinking he got one of those sex lines! He tried it, didn't work! He had me look at it and I got it working, needed some lube on the changer parts, dried out.

Here's a illegal move in KnightMate Chess: Notice where the "X" is where the computer moved his Knight from. This was on Stella and I want to see if real hardware does it!

Wow, went to a wine/beer/eatery and downstairs they had a man-cave arcade! The games there were a big surprise: TRON - MISSILE COMMAND - CENTIPEDE - KANGAROO - GALAGA - PAC MAN - MS PAC MAN - SUPER MARIO BROTHERS - GOLDEN TEE GOLF, all original! Three Pinball machines BULLWINKLE - MANDALORIAN

I put the OS Rev A with the fast math rom into a 16K eprom years ago! Tried it in my XE Game System, XEGS, a while go and it works there too!

I dragged the file to the BUP System and it came right up, watched it in the demo mod awhile, seemed fine!

Works ok on BUP! Good game, but it could use some fine tuning! Left outfielder can throw a ball faster to 1st base than the third baseman throwing to 1st base! Can that be reversed?
