I am in a similar boat and this place never fails to enlighten me on topics I only have surface level knowledge of.

You know that literally you were the person who brought Mattel up and the only one who keeps bringing it up, right? You also know that Mattel has literally nothing to do with either of these Nostalgia boxes right?

Can we take a moment to appreciate the level of truly unique individual that bothered to go back and click on the “confused” face for each of Bill’s posts? Just…. Amazing. Slow clap my friend, slow clap.

Hyperscan sold about 10,000 units total, or close to that. By your own metric this was a rousing success and sales should explode any day now.

Needs more FYI's, unclear who this information is for, I'm leaning toward this "your" guy.

Must have missed this is in actuality a Box A versus Box B thread, I thought it was merely a you being utterly delusional about Box A's future possibility thread.

So when Box A sells terribly, but Box B shows up and sells even worse, that somehow makes Box A a success?? ...This is George Costanza levels of business acumen.

I would settle for the novelized version of this thread.

Does this mean ET is the first backer to actually receive something from Atari ? I mean a refund is better than a shiny plastic box of broken dreams (with a light up logo).

I don't know who here is to blame... or how. But I just know this thread is somehow responsible.

Yeah, that's a very fast sellout. Hopefully another batch in the fall for those who missed out. Going to need to camp our keyboards for the pocket launch methinks. ?

Still showing them in stock for me on the ordering page. Maybe refresh or wiggle the cables or something? It's also possible my page has not updated itself, that wouldn't shock me. Edit: Seeing a bunch of messages on Twitter about being told it is out of stock when added to cart, hmm an error or genuinely too small of an initial order of their part?

Some of the shipping responses on Twitter are quite "yikes". RIP to our friends overseas. $18.68 to Illinois, total just under $70. I'm glad it wasn't up to my $100 early estimate, so that's something.

Oh no, That's both amazing work and yet somehow also awful. XD

Based on a photo tweeted a few months ago, I think Game Gear is one, My Card is another, and the SG-1000/3000/Mark III share the last one. If this is incorrect, then RIP all our wallets even more so.

I'm guessing the adapters will be $20 each, with a rate of $15 for one, $22 for two and $27 for three shipped. Basically my brain is telling me that if I want the complete set it'll be nearly 100 bucks.

It whizzes by quite quickly, but I'm glad to see that Asteroids has found its "S". Bizarre that an unlisted YT video shows more to us than the entirety of their social media did during the CES.

The Ghostly / Analogue Super NT also shows "Ships in 24-48 hours" after being sold out since just after launch. Wonder if they got the remaining stock from leftovers at the Ghostly web store.

I honestly love that at some point in time this thread and you all became a literal boogeyman for some of the supporters on those groups. Torches and pitchforks, it's them agers!!

How do you open Starflight cart for Sega Genesis
pesh42 replied to SegaShooters's topic in Sega Genesis
There are absolutely a few sockets on that page that might be worth a shot. Certainly closer than some of the other things I dug up on my own. Between that and the spanner bit I think we might be able to find a winner. I'll order a couple things this week and report back when I can. Thanks again! -
How do you open Starflight cart for Sega Genesis

Agreed, that might be the best course of action. I was holding out hope that someone would show up with a perfect solution they had discovered in the long time since this thread was originally a thing. -
How do you open Starflight cart for Sega Genesis

Hi all! Sorry to dredge a topic from the graveyard, but I certainly didn't want my very first post here to be a brand new thread. I've been looking for a solid solution to the above described "Radiation Symbol" Tri-Groove (?) screws like Electronic Arts used on many of their Sega Genesis Carts (And apparently used ole' standard phillips on the rest) I don't have the skills (or sanity) to construct my own device, so I'm hoping that in the time since this thread was originally posted, someone has found an easy to use bit or screwdriver that is very obtainable and works well in these specific situations. I've scoured the Internet and there is very little to go on that isn't a part of this thread itself. There are 3 YouTube videos about opening EA Sega Genesis carts, 2 focus on the yellow tab, one mentions phillips screws and not a single one even touches on the "Tri-Groove" ones. Thank you very much for your time whomever responds.
