  1. I have a clean and working Atari 800 that I picked up last summer. I would like to do a straight trade for and Atari 800 XL in similar condition. It could be a long shot but I am in North Jersey if anyone local wants to meet to avoid shipping. The only other item I might be looking for is an 8 bit UnoCart or similar.

  8. Emails and PMs responded to. Blips and Book have sold.
  9. For the past few years I have been drifting further away from console gaming, particularly the classic systems. That has been solidified in the past year as my family began to get into pinball collecting. If you know pins and arcades, you will realize that you quickly run out of both room and money. I now want to add a fourth machine to the rotation, which means I need to pull quite a bit of money together for the one of the next machines on my buy list. This thread will likely continue to be updated until either I make the estimated dollar amount, run out of stuff, or get bored and buy the pin anyway. Prices are posted. If my prices are out of line, make me a reasonable offer. I'll revisit them in a few days if no interest. I will update this thread regularly when items are sold and pending, as well as when I list new items. Atari 800: Working 800 Computer w/ basic cartridge - $40 Computer War Cartridge –complete - $20 Submarine Commander - $15 Squish Em - $20 Wizard of Wor - $15 Gyruss - $15 Congo Bongo (no label) - $15 Boxed XE Game System -$75 2 pack in titles, joystick, keyboard, light gun, all documentation. Loose NES: Bible Adventures (Blue) - $10 King of Kings (Black) - $10 Boxed NES: Road Blasters - $6 Super Mario Bros - $10 Rygar - $10 Rad Racer -$6 Rampage - $10 Boxed Genesis: Shove It! – Complete - $12 Loose Genesis: Mega Bomberman - $10 Earth Defense - $10 Triple Score -$6 Raiden Trad -$10 Flashback -$6 X-band modem. -$6 Crime Fighter – JAMMA Board - $45 Board, Manual, and Marquee. (Sale Pending) PS2 Demos / soundtracks: - $14 for all. Freaky Flyers, Hunter the Rechoning, Destroy all humans, the punisher, playstation magazine 91, Jak II, Arc the Lad, There’s a new thief in town, Racket and Clank, Drakengard, and Front Mission 4. Van Helsong Bonus DVD, Midnight club 2 soundtrack sampler, and EA Sports Select Beats volume 1. Xbox Titles: 007 - Everything or Nothing 007- Nightfire Starsky and Hutch X-Men Legends Alias Circus Maximus The SIMS Gladius Outlaw Golf - 9 Holes of X-MAS (Block Buster Exclusive) Outlaw Volleyball (Block Buster Exclusive) House of the Dead III w/ also include a Mad Katz light gun. Tetris Worlds / Star Wars Clone Wars (All will be priced later.) Non-game related: Star Wars Sears Cantina playset with Blue Snaggletooth figure. - $130 Just a few words on the terms of the sale. You can send me a PM through the forum or else email me directly at playedataritoday@gmail.com. Email is preferred and I will check and respond to emails once a day usually around 9-10 PM. I will only accept US Postal Money Orders for payment. I will not accept Paypal, so please don’t ask. This might seem like a hassle to some, but since I will have to pay cash for the pin I would rather not have my money tied up with Paypal. Shipping is not included in any prices unless specifically stated. My preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. In some cases I can send the items via Parcel Post for less, I will not deal with Media Mail. I don’t have a postal scale so I give my best estimate of shipping costs. Sometimes I’m right / sometimes I’m wrong, in either case the quoted price is what you’ll pay. Insurance if you want it will be extra. I will plan to ship twice a week, usually on Wednesday and Saturday. A number of the larger items (such as boxed consoles) will be sold as pickup only in NJ. These just wouldn’t make much sense to ship based on size and cost. Preference will be given to anyone who wants to pick up items in person. All items will be tested prior to shipment and will be documented via photos. If you have any question, please ask. Once items leave my possession, I do not want to be contacted so consider everything as-is, and shipping is to the US only. I am also willing to trade any of these items for pinball machines or arcade cabinets in the NJ area. Buy. Buy. Buy. Buy.
  10. PM sent. I'm going to pass on the car, it's not what what I had in mind. The phone I might still be interested in. Ideally I was looking for something that was a smart phone/PDA that supported wifi so I can use it w/o a data plan, but maybe we can work something out.
  11. I'm moderately interested in the krzr. I was holding out for something more along the lines of a smart phone which supported wifi as some do. It still is a step up from the one I'm using so maybe. Also maybe on the predator, I'd need to see pics and get a model number for the charger to see what it is capable of. Send me a PM if anything below interests you. 8 bit carts: Q-bert, Congo Bongo, DK Jr, Computer War, Gyruss, Pitfall, Sub Commander, Squish 'Em, and Wizard of Wor. In addition I have a 130XE in the box with the SIO2PC adapter built in. I also have a boxed XE game system with all the accessories and pack in games. TG-16: Loose Turbo Express (perfect no dead pixels and perfect sound). Keith Courage, Sinistron, Final Lap Twin, Vigilante, Veigues Tactical Gladiator, Victory Run, Cyber Core. Lynx II: Boxed System, Boxed Battery Pack, Large Case, Boxed Sunvisor/screen guard Games: (all boxed unless noted) Bill and Ted's, Chip's Challenge, Crystal Mines II, Dirty Larry, Gauntlet (loose), Hydra, Ishido, Jimmy Connors Tennis, Klax, Kung Food, Malibu Bikini Volleyball, Pinball Jam, Pit Fighter, Qix (loose), Rampart, Shadow of the Beast, Shanghai, Slime World (loose), Steel Talons, Super Skweek, Toki, Tournament Cyberball, and XYBOTS. Jaguar: The system is boxed and complete as are a second controller, and the composite video cable. All software is boxed: Ruiner Pinball, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Syndicate, Dino Dudes, Pitfall, Tempest, Checkered Flag, Zool 2, Raiden, Iron Soldier, Trevor McFur, White Men can't jump w/ tap, Cybermorph, I-War, Bubsy, Fever Pitch Soccer, Ultra Vortek, Hover Strike (CD)[note I don't actually have the CD attachment].
  12. I have about 12 years worth of games that I'm just not playing enough to justify keeping around. Items I have include boxed Dreamcast w/ 15 titles, Boxed Jaguar w/ 20 titles, Boxed Lynx w/ 20 titles, Turbo Express w/ 8 titles, Boxed Nomad w/ around 100 titles, Boxed 130 XE, Loose Atari 800 and misc 8 bit carts, and then misc pongs, NES, and 2600 systems and carts. Too many things to list right now, but I can expand on these via PM or email. Items I'm looking to trade for include: R/C cars, batteries, chargers, and accessories. Unlocked GSM smart phone / cell phone. Captain America Comic Books. Pinball Machines - working or not. Arcade Machines - working or not. LCD wide screen monitor - 22 inches or bigger. Laptop - something 1-2 years old. All random items, but things I'd be looking to buy in the near term anyway. If you have any of these items and want to expand your collection then let me know. I can sell the stuff too, and my prices would be fair, but not steals. I am not in a position where I need to get rid of any of these items, so this is not a fire sale. On the other hand if you do have any of the items I want I could make the trade worth your while. I'll also throw out that I'm in north/central New Jersey if someone wants to pop over and take a look at what I have or else we could meet up somewhere. This is type of deal is probably better suited for a local as shipping (particularly on the boxed stuff) might kill it. But let me know what you have and where you are located and we can see where it goes from there.
  13. Sega Genesis Prototype: - $50 This is an eight EPROM prototype board for Joe Montana's Sports Talk Football. I do not know if it differs much if any from the final release. Atari Lynx: - $175 Boxed System, Boxed Battery Pack, Large Case, Boxed Sunvisor/screen guard Games: (all boxed unless noted) Bill and Ted's, Chip's Challenge, Crystal Mines II, Dirty Larry, Gauntlet (loose), Hydra, Ishido, Jimmy Connors Tennis, Klax, Kung Food, Malibu Bikini Volleyball, Pinball Jam, Pit Fighter, Qix (loose), Rampart, Shadow of the Beast, Shanghai, Slime World (loose), Steel Talons, Super Skweek, Toki, Tournament Cyberball, and XYBOTS. NEC Turbo Express Portable: - $200 Handheld system in excellent condition, no dead pixels and excellent sound. Games: Keith Courage, Sinistron, Final Lap Twin, Vigilante, Veigues Tactical Gladiator, Victory Run, Cyber Core. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- If you don't like my prices make an offer. I'm not interested in trades at this time, with the possible exception of an SDrive (or similar device for 8-bit). All items are exclusive of shipping. I Ship USPS Priority Mail and regular Parcel Post. I will not ship media mail, so please don't ask. I will ship to US addresses only, no international. Payment is requested to be by USPS Money Order, I'd prefer not to deal with Paypal at this time. All items are available for pickup at my house in New Jersey, if you want to avoid shipping. Payment to be made in cash at time of pickup.
  14. I've got a SportTalk Football proto that has 8 EPROMs that I've been threatening to re-use for years. Everytime I need that particular size I've ended up getting another source, so it has been spared so far. It seems that sports protos are not well sought after. Mine has a super long board that extends almost 9 inches tall, I was told years ago that $50-60 was the range, but I'd say $40-50 is probably closer to the real value now.
  15. Great!! Thanks!!! I was beginning to wonder if anyone had actually built the thing. I've built it too and it actually works rather well. I was looking to get rid of it since I'm dumping my 5200, but now I'm debating keeping the interface just in case I ever get another. As for the earlier post as to why not buy a redemption? This circuit has been around longer than the redemption has been, and I too built it for the learning experience. Why spend money on something that you can build yourself cheaper?
  16. I have a 5200 collection that I'm considering splitting apart. I've carried this back and forth to various trade meets over the past few years and now I want it out my house. The collection consists of: 4 port console Power Supply Boxed switchbox for the 4 port 4 controllers - All could use a cleaning, 2 were working 100% on saturday AM, the other 2 had flex tapes that worked I just couldn't clean the contacts enough and gave up. 9 games: Centipede, RS baseball, RS football, pacman, river raid, congo bongo, pole position, and 2 titles I can't remember right now. I also have the original box. I'm willing to sell it as a complete lot, or else break it up so if you need just one piece (switch box, controller, etc.) let me know and make an offer. If you want it all and don't want to pay for shipping you can pick it up if you are willling to drive to New Jersey. PM me with offers.
  17. I went up in the attic today searching for something and I came across a bunch of boxes I haven't opened in upwards of 15 years. Inside one of them was a boxed copy of "B-1 Nuclear Bomber" by Avalon Hill / microcomputer games. It appears to be complete: instructions, instruction addendum, cassette, box insert, and registration card. The tape itself is extremely clean and the label is bright white. I doubt I played this more than once or twice as a kid. Incidently the tape is the same for Commodore 64/Vic 20. Clearly the market for tapes is smaller than 8-bit carts, but what could I expect to get for this? I was under the impression Avalon Hill stuff seemed to be a bit rarer than some other releases of that era, but I don't know. I also found a bunch of books, few APX catalogs, the manual from Music Composer, the packaging from 'Diskey' a utility from the Scott Adams company Adventure International, the packaging and manual from Crossword magic, the manual and cover from Dodge Racer, and the packaging from the disk version of "Choplifter". All fun stuff I haven't seen in years. Now I'm going to have to hunt down a rom for B-1 and take it from a spin as my cassette drives are long gone and I have no desire to expand beyond 8-bit carts. I found a picture of it over at: http://www.atari8bit.org/detail.php?ID=150 My box is in a bit better shape.
  18. I've got a copy of Syndicate. It is complete and in the box. I played it when I first got the system, but never really got into it. I'll send you a PM and we can work something out.
  19. If you want one book to get you started: The Art of Electronics This is the book that every practicing Engineer should have on their shelf. It explains almost every concept in simple english. Anytime I need a refresher on something this is the one I grab.
  20. <bump> About 24 hours left and the reserve has finally been met.
  21. Reseve has almost been met, just a few more $$$....
  22. I actually considered briefly keeping it, cracking it open and seeing what kind of reverse engineering I could do. Then I came to my senses and figured it's worth more in it's current condition. If I ever got the urge to play around, I'd try and hunt down an intellicart.
  23. No it closes next Monday night. Something is screwy with the link I originally posted it launched the german site, not the us. I've got no clue why. Any way follow this link to be redirected to the auction: http://tinyurl.com/c9geb Actually this link is not the original link. See above.
