I recently found a PlayCable unit. At the time I picked it up I knew it was rare, but was not prepared for how rare it really is. The Digital Press guide lists it as 10. Unfortunately I do not collect Intellivision items, so I have put this up on eBay. If you are looking for one to complete your collection, don't miss this opportunity. Make sure to bid early and often. Make sure to bid both early and often. There is a reserve, but after talking to a number of people, I think it is very fair. ----edited---- The original link is acting real strange when it gets launched from this forum. For some reason it jumps to the German ebay site, not the US one where it is actually posted for sale. I made a tiny url out of it so, s try following the link here: http://tinyurl.com/c9geb or else go to ebay.com and search on playcable. -----edit----- About 24 hours left and the reserve has finally been met.

FS: Famicom Disk System, Game Doctor 4+, and games
Goblin replied to Goblin's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Wow this is an old post that must have gotten bumped. I went away for a few weeks and forgot about it. If anyone is interested I still have the Famicom, the FDS, the game doctor unit (2 pieces), and about 40 loose disks. Condition of everything is the same as previously described. PM me with any questions or offers. I'd like to sell as a lot to save me the effort, but I'll split if the offer is good. -

***edited*** As much as I said I wouldn't I have decided to split things up. All the games in the jewel cases are now gone, but I've still got the Harware and the loose generic disks. This will make a nice starter package for someone looking to get into the famicom disk system. New Lot Closeup of Hardware Game Doctor Back of the Game Doctor Game Saver Recently I found a huge lot of import famicom stuff. The disks do not appear to be original (read: probably pirates). I attempted to get things working, but can only get errors 21 and 22 from the FDS. In my playing around I'm at a point where I think the FDS probably needs a belt replacement. My preference at this point is not to spend any money getting it up and running. This find was always bittersweet in that I found a huge collection, however it was for a system that I never really planned to collect, as such I am going to try to sell it all in one lot. Make me an offer via PM - serious inquires only. You will get: An original Famicom (RF, not composite) - not totally operational. I have traced through the circuit board and the problem at this point might be a bad cartridge connector. I think one of the address or data lines isn't fully working. It's possible something else is wrong, but I'm not convinced. Famicom Disk System and RAM pack. - This give me errors 22, and 21. It sounds like a belt needs to be replaced. Turbo Game Doctor 4+/Game Saver Version 1 by venus electronics. This has the secondary game saver plug in board for the back, and you will get the matching power supply which I fixed the second power plug on. You will also get the 47 loose FDS disks seen in the new picture. All but 2, have paper sleeves, and I'll throw in an FDS cleaning disk as well. Now for the rules: All items are being sold as-is. I have tried to be up front regarding the condition of everything. If you have any questions please ask. I will ship to the US only, and accept only US postal service money orders. The box will be heavy so expect shipping to be close to be ~$25. If you live in NJ and want to pick this up, you can avoid the shipping costs. I will only consider a trade (or partial trade) from someone who will pick this up. My preference is cash so I can spend the money on other items, but certain trade items might tempt me. Don't let this opportunity pass you by. Thanks for looking and let me know by PM. Hopefully some import collector will decide they can give this a good home.

I've got Raiden available. PM with an offier if interested. (This is open to anyone.) I'm looking for cash, but might consider a trade although I'm extremely picky.

The following item was found by a friend while cleaning out old stock in his parent's store. It is an Astrocade System still sealed in the outer shipping container. You can find pictures here: http://home.comcast.net/~gamesfortrade/ Now that you have seen it we would appreciate any help you can give us in determining a value. Is this really as rare as we think it is? I've done a bit of searching over the past few months and have not come across anything else that resembles it. As I far as I can tell it is one of a kind (at least until someone is able to disprove me). As you can guess we are looking to sell this, although my intention of posting today is try and get any information on it, and to share this find with everyone. Feel free to PM me, or else send me an email: [email protected] with any information you might have.

Save these prototypes from destruction (1 SNES, 1 Genesis)
Goblin replied to Goblin's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
so you have more than one proto for sale? I also have an SNES prototype of Tom and Jerry that may already be spoken for. I used much of the same wording from a post I used on a different board, and didn't correct all the wording to reflect just the one I'm offering here. -
PM sent to interested party on 4/28/04 with no reponse. Please respond otherwise this may become available again.

Edit: --See post below for information on the SNES one.-- I have a sega genesis prototype that needs saving. Not in the traditional sense of bit rot but from my own hands. If I don’t get any offer to buy or trade for it, I will likely remove the eproms and recycle the board. I may attempt to reprogram it with other rom image, or else I’ll end up using the eproms in other projects. The prototytpe is Joe Montana Football 2. This prototype is unique in that it stands about 9-12 inches tall and contains eight 1Mb eproms (27c1001 – I think). How can this be yours? 2 options: 1. Buy it. I accept cash, or postal money order. Make me a fair offer, and once I receive payment I will send it out. 2. Trade for it. I just recently acquired an x-box and need to get a few titles so this may be a good opportunity. I’ll tell you at this point I only own halo, 007 nigtfire, and HotD3, so I am open for most anything that is worth playing. Feel free to send me a list of what you have for trade and I’m sure we can work something out. All titles should be complete, clean, and scratch free. Depending on the title, I can see trading anywhere from 2-6 titles for each proto. 2 if the games are decent $25-$35 titles. More if the games routinely sell for $8-10. Oh and no sports games, unless it’s one of the Tiger Woods golf titles. I will ship and deal with US only on this. I will ship via USPS Priority mail with delivery confirmation and if we are trading I expect you to do the same. I don’t like when I ship priority and the other guy ships media, spend the few extra bucks so we can both be happy. I also expect the trades to cross in the mail, so don’t wait until you receive mine before sending yours out. Either PM or else post to this thread with your offers. Prototype Joe Montana Sports Talk Football II - Genesis

I've got a Jaguar Core system which I've modified with a BJL eprom. The unit would come with just the core (no controller, rf, or power supply), and the cable. If needed I may be able to burn a disk with the loader and images, or else you can pull them down yourself. I'm only interested in selling this, no trades at this time. PM me with your best offer. Payment to be made by Postal Money Order, no paypal. I ship USPS w/ Delivery Confirmation. Shipping to the US only. I can supply references or you can check the trader thread over at the digital press board.

Cuttle Cart: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...1&category=1250 Don't miss your chance to own it.
-
The BIN is no longer available as the reserve has been met. So bid early and often on this, don't miss out on a chance to own the original.
-
No, I'm not planning on getting the CC2. I don't have a 7800 and really don't need another system anytime soon. I saw that another CC is ending in about an hour and is currently at $200, so with a flurry of last minute bidding it will likely end around $220. If figured if someone felt bad about losing out on that one perhaps they will use my BIN to get one without the hassle of being outbid at the last minute.
-
Don't miss your change to own the original: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3074655931 I finally got around to listing this, use the BIN to avoid the bidding hassle.
-
Thanks for the tip, and I hadn't planned to mention CC2 anyway, but in my opinion these are 2 different items. Many people, myself included don't own or want a 7800, making the CC2 useless for them. Also with the CC2, they need to spend money on media, external reader, and pokey chip. This one is ready to go out of the box. So far the highest offer stands at $165. I'm going to hold off until later in the week before I decide to either take it or send her to ebay. PM if interested.

I've got an original cuttle cart for sale. PM any offers, best one gets it. If I don't get interest I'll throw her up on ebay around the end of the month. I only accept postal MO, and ship US only.

With Christmas just a few days away, this is the perfect time to use that new found Holiday money and buy yourself a nice present. I'll get around to adding prices possibly toward the end of the week, but if you want something speak up now and make an offer before it's gone. Some of this stuff has been offered before either here or on ebay, some are being advertised for the first time. check the list out here: http://home.comcast.net/~gamesfortrade/ I'm only looking for cash offers, right now. Payment by check, money order, or cash - no paypal. I ship priority or parcel post (US only) with delivery confirmation or else if you are in NJ we can meet and you can pick up in person. I'll also be adding additional stuff sometime next weekend so check back.

Still available. I've also got a new clear photo I can email anyone who is interested. PM me if interested.

For Trade: Ms Space Fury - Colecovision - CGE2001 release
Goblin replied to Goblin's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I've got a great photo I can email to anyone who is interested. I would also like to say I'll now be happy to accept cash offers. This is a good opportunity to spend that Christmas money you are bound to get and to buy yourself something nice for your collection. The last one I know of to be sold was on ebay back in October, so these definately don't come up very often. -
I've got a copy of Ms Space Fury, the limited edition Colecovision release, produced by Digital Press for CGE 2001. It as mint as the day I received it. It gets very little play at my house, so I'm offering this up for trade. Copies of this game don't become available very often, so use this opportunity to snag it as a christmas present to yourself. [For more on the game: http://www.digitpress.com/archives/mssf/ ] I am really looking for a Turbo Express set up (system and cards) or a GBA flash card set up. But if you are interested and don't have either of these items PM me a trade list and I'll take a look. No promises as I'd really like to hold out for one of these, but I'll see. And if you have either a Turbo Express or GBA flash card, but aren't interested in Ms Space Fury, PM me too as I've got some other goodies including a few prototypes that we might be able to deal with. I can send pictures upon request. And I would like to limit the trade to US only.

The interested party backed out. PM me if interested.

I just picked this up in an electronics store in NYC. It cleans up fairly well, but is just the console, wired controllers, and rf wire. I used a universal supply I had lying around (12V - center positive, 500mA) to test it. The power LED lights up, and the screen turns color and has a vertical pattern scrolling upwards. I don't have any cartridges to test it with, but my guess is it will work fine. I couldn't in good faith leave it in the store and it was calling to me to bring it home. The last thing I need is another console to collect for, so its for sale. PM with offers. I can send pictures upon request.
