    It does crash like half the time when you try to select a different song, but sometimes it works and you should be able to play the game.

    You have to go to options, go to vector objects and look at a couple and then go back to options, go to audio test and play a different song, then go and play the game. It's still going to crash after a couple of levels though because there's a bug with the audio. If you want, open nuance.cfg and change AudioInterrupts to Disabled and you can play through the whole game but no sound, but it won't crash. You still have to go to vector objects first though.

    I don't know how Tempest 2000 in this collection will play, but with t2k emulator 0.06c you can play T2K at 60 FPS and a usb spinner. It's great.

    I beat the whole game on Xbox first. I bought it again on Steam and finished the whole PC remix levels also. The thing I like about Space Giraffe is that it plays differently from regular Tempest. You can kind of sit back and not have to constantly shoot every enemy as fast as you can like you do in Tempest. I mean you could also just play it like Tempest if you want, just make sure you keep the "power zone" going (jumping refills it). I still want to try Tempest 3000 but controllers for the Nuon are so expensive on eBay so I haven't been able to play it yet. It's true that Llamasoft have their own distinctive style and it is not for everyone, but I think they're really fun games as well.

    Space Giraffe is great! I totally recommend trying it out if you have an Xbox One/Series or play it on Steam. I mean look, Jeff Minter's games are definitely not for everyone. But I'm a big fan, he knows how to make a fun arcade style game, and plus I really like the cool visuals. I like Tempest 2000 and I think Tempest 4000 is a great follow up to that game.

    Sounds good. I really wanted to buy a Nuon and play Tempest 3000. But controllers cost like $300 on ebay. The Tempest games are my favorite. You can burn a CDR (or DVD-R?) of Tempest 3000.

    Hi can someone send me the spinner mod for Tempest 4000 please? I just got a USB spinner and I've been playing arcade Tempest on mame, and Tempest 2000 (https://www.aep-emu.de/Emus-file-emus_detail-id-1404.html Version: 0.06c - this is the only version that works btw).

    Has anyone gotten the spinner to work with Mame? I wanted to play Tempest with it. It spins erratically and you can't really control it. I tried to get it working but I can't figure it out.

    Hi I have a question. It's basically impossible to get a real copy of Tempest 3000. If I want to play a burned copy of Tempest 3000 will it work on any model of Nuon DVD player? If I were to buy a Nuon which model do I need specifically?

    Hey I finally got around to trying the Nuance emulator. And I just played my first game of Tempest 3000. Wow what an awesome amazing game. I love Tempest 4000, but there's something about those cheesy 1999/2000 year graphics that are really something special. I couldn't get the sound to work without it crashing on level select. I tried doing the music test trick, but every time I tried to pick a song it would crash instantly right there. So I just disabled AudioInterrupts, which disables the audio completely. But I did the vector test trick and that works at least. You can play 2 or 3 levels but it always crashes eventually. It plays at a decent framerate like 15/20ish I would say. I played it for about an hour and I beat the first 15 levels. It's a great game and now I know for sure I need a Nuon in my life.

    Final Fight is my favorite one, I like playing as Haggar and spamming the body splash move. That's why I always play as Zangief in Street Fighter as well. Alien Vs Predator was excellent too.
