  1. I got this score when I couldn't find the level 1 wanted poster and I was forced to loop it a bit. But when I played again, found it, and got to the second level fast, I had a lower score than yesterday. So...I hope this entry is legal. Still has me last, so it doesn't affect anyone yet hahaha.

Is there a trick with finding the wanted posters? I've checked the maps, but sometimes they don't show up when I go to the spot. It looks like they appear above a barrel, but can they disappear? I feel like there's something I'm missing. Like you have to shoot, or not shoot, a certain area. I'm gonna do some research.

*edit* went back to the instruction manual and it was right there. Ya need to shoot the blank area 8 times.

  2. I've seen TVs on the road or by dumpsters with their cords cut before too, makes me upset. What kind of life did that tv have before it was heartlessly struck down? What kind of old games could it have gone on to play? 😭 I'm wondering if it has to do with not getting in the way when the trash guys pick it up; like maybe it's at their request?

think I found a game where I might prefer the original controller.

My controllers are definitely borked. I was finding the best success with a Genesis pad (and of course having to do the quick swap 🙄). I got around 105k I think but then the score went away before I could take a pic. Turns out my old Zenith cuts off the score in the top left, so I'll have to play on another, hah.

  4. 1 button games that are played in 1 minute? My kind of games. Wait, "specially designed for children over 4"?...

The best football game I have played: 77

Space shooting where you want the shots to be just a frame or two faster: 69

Submarine shooting where you're thankful it allows you fire 3 torpedos at a time: 32

Maze shooting where you want turbo: 22

And they say mini games are a new fad. This one looks like it would be a lot of fun head to head on original hardware. Of course, another example of those damn side buttons giving you pain.

the reverse of 4/5 carts has a name and a social security number! on the back.  WTF?!

That's crazy! I've seen carts with phone numbers on them, but ssn?! If someone finds a lost game, how would they even return it? Go to the police and have them tracked down by social security number? Wow. So stupid, haha.

Such a good game. Never played this for points- makes those hidden treasures more appealing. I remember getting to Dracula when I was younger, but my game always froze up at the end. Sounds like an excuse, but I distinctly remember getting to the end like 3 times with it freezing. I haven't played enough this round to make it that far, but if it happens again...I have a second cart now to try it out on, hahahaha.
