HAHAHA I'm sorry, I misspoke- I didn't buy em from that auction. I've had them since the 90s, my big bro got it with the game and I've been wearin' em for the past couple decades haha. I will say, I thought the sunglasses were fine until I compared them to others and they don't block as much out 😎

I really wanted to get 18 extra lives on this one, but although I can beat the game consistently, I'm not having any luck breaking my 12 lives. I'm actually having a harder time in the beginning now that I've gotten much better at the end. It's like the first 40k are frustratingly slow in comparison and the climb to 100k makes me want to fast forward. Still love this game, but I think I just need a break. Great round all around 🐬

Haven't gotten better at this one... Good round and season everyone! Whether or not I was particularly into or good at a specific game, this group has always been lively and fun. Come for the scores, stay for the banter...and Coleco dissing. Fun times had by all.

I imagine that game as this one bad-ass dolphin commander who gets 18 other dolphins to follow him into battle with the squid army, but he doesn't need them 'cause he does it solo, like a dolphin Rambo. Dambo.

My sonar was on point just now...it's grabbing the seagull that gets me. Not quite AMAZING yet, but AWE-INSPIRING perhaps? I was stuck in the 260Ks for what felt like forever. Constantly missing the seagull (even running out of power going to the squid, aaaah), but still jumping those seahorses like no one's business. 268,020 Upped my extra lives by one! Score improvement. Awesome, but not quite AMAZING... funny tho how your personal best doesn't always line up with your pb for extra lives. I was straddling like 3 or 4 for most of it. Then of course, always ends the same. I'm getting better at getting the seagull, but there are many times I miss it (frustrating!) but I'm impressed if I don't die immediately. When I can give the squid "the slip" (as the manual says) I feel invincible. 170,890

Small improvement, but it's too frustrating to push further. I really like other versions of this one, so it's a shame. Sometimes I'm in the zone and I don't think it's so bad, then I'm having to walk up level 3's stairs way off to the side or falling through the gaps and I just can't see past the controls and collision. I think Mattel made the best games here and some others were just looking to get their stuff on the system. 39,300 stage 4

Been sticking with the "jump the seahorses" strategy, thanks Rogerpoco, and am very surprised with how well I did. Although I do feel like this method goes against the intended way to play, I agree that it's the way to get high scores. Around mid 30k, it starts to speed up and I can get into a nice rhythm, then it speeds up again around 100k and it's harder to grab the seagull. By the time I got my high, I was blasting through my reserve dolphins Did manage a nice amount there tho. 141,270 8 extra dolphins
