  1. @JacobZu7zu7 I don't think we ever had a season standings points update after Mission X, did we?
  2. I had a 7:07 on course 3 in the red car a few pages back @gezkc I tried a couple of times today to top you in course 3, but no can do. Hell of a time you had there! 🙂 Will add your 7:07 post, had another update just now, but it got erased while i was almost done... browser did that thing with a tab opens a new browser window and the old one I was updating is gone entirely... 😛
  3. I find the 16 directions of original controller to be helpful. Can't say for certain, but pretty sure I use the ESE and WSW positions quite a bit and that extra bit of fidelity before the SE/SW positions helps slide without oversteering as often. Definitely a great example of a game designed to use the disc well and no real modern day controller equivalent that lets me be as precise.
  4. Definitely not a good game for analog control, you really need tiny taps for steering
  5. I would like to personally thank you for posting another score over 200k, that means I definitely don't need to play again because, even if I could survive, there's no way I could tolerate playing the game that long! 🙂
  6. Thanks for the summary update! My time on track 1 was 3:06, but first is first. 🙂 Doesn't matter unless someone gets around to updating the all time records thread. Hint, hint... 😇
  7. That is a phenomenal video. I used that to introduce my kids to the song. It is since and forevermore known to them as 'That Paul Rudd Song' when they hear it. :-)
  8. Sure, but other than the controls, sounds, graphics, and completely nonsensical and random movements of the cats, there's a lot to like!
  9. Same here, I always felt I was 'messing up' the probabilities if I influenced the income, so when playing solo, it was me against the odds makers. Playing with other people was about playing it as a game and taunting people you bet on who failed you by underperforming. 🙂
  10. Ugh... You're going to make me play this again, aren't you? Grrrrr..... 😁
  11. I recommend posting extremely detailed information (with as many screenshot as possible) about the games, console, controllers, menu system, Karma Engine, and John Alvarado's personal details here in the forum. Otherwise we can't really properly advise you on which bits of info to release in what order.
  12. That's the great thing about the staggered format, when a stinker like this comes along, we can give it a go and then go back to Auto Racing until a new game comes out next week. 🙂
  13. More, please!! 🙂 That's a delightful tease of how the screen might be used during gameplay and a delightfully creative example of a little nudge to help folks catch up. Nothing unbalanced, just a little help. What else? Huh? Huh? Pretty please? We promise not to tell anyone! 😇
  14. Or just really sloppy.... 🙂 I do swing wide on exits to straights quite a bit since there isn't usually a speed hit for doing so.
  15. Wow, that's an impressive score! Not sure I have the patience to learn this one properly, but if you say there's fun to be had, I'll give it another go!
  16. Never understood that logic. Money is money, why not make as much as possible by making as many quality games as possible? Imagic definitely had it right: tailor games to each system's strengths.
  17. Interesting the higher price point seemed to be a non-factor, at least amongst this demographic anyway. Very promising!
  18. I wish I had just given this one a pass. Once seen, some things... cannot be unseen. *shudder*
  19. It's my favorite, just a little weird because you have to occasionally... brake. Freaky.
